Maht Korean Restaurant
Had Tofu Bibimbap, rice cakes, and peach soju with some friends here. The food was delicious and were served in generous portions! The servers were incredibly kind and offered great customer service.

Really great portion of bibimbap! A lot of veggies and very filling. Small menu and interior didn’t have much decoration but it’s good value.

This small korean restaurant has a small menu of delicious food. We had the rice cakes, teokboki, and fried chicken (original and spicy). Spicy means spicy, so not a favorite of the kids.The food was spectacular. I highly recommend this place.

I happened to be in the Chinatown area today, and I found this place while looking for some lunch.This place is very small, quaint, and has that hole in the wall/blink and you'll miss it kind of vibe. But, you shouldn't pass right by, especially if you like Korean food.I was greeted immediately by a very friendly waitress, and seated very quickly (most tables were empty, probably due to me showing up after the lunch rush).I ordered the Pork Bibimbap, and I got served an appetizer of potatoes in sweet sauce (probably not the correct name for it), bean sprout salad in a spicy sauce, and Kimchi. The apps were all tasty. I loved the Kimchi especially.Then, the Bibimbap came out in a stone dish, and sizzling like no one's business. The presentation was very eye catching, matched very well with the flavour. Everything was cooked very well, though I admittedly took a lot of time admiring the food to the point where some of the rice burned on the bottom. That's not a knock against the restaurant, but rather to me admiring the food rather than eating.Overall, my meal, plus a bottle of beer, cost me roughly $20 (before taxes and a tip), so the price is very good as well.I will definitely be a repeat customer next time I'm near Chinatown.

Delicious food. I've returned a few times now and everything is always consistently great. The prices are very reasonable, especially for how tasty everything is.Service is fast and friendly and the atmosphere makes it nice to just sit and enjoy a meal.The only disappointment is that they don't offer a smaller size for the fried chicken. I've been wanting to try it forever, but never have the required number of people to make it worth ordering.

I had toufu gamjatang and camomile tea for dinner. They provide appetizers. I liked the beansprout and the potato but didn't like the taste of the kimchi as it was too sour.The gamjatang tasted savoury. The camomile tea did not taste like camomile. I think they offered me chrysanthemum tea instead.Service was good.

Great little Korean place. Only about 8 tables so very cozy but very authentic food. Best Korean fried chicken we have had in Ottawa. Bibimbap was very tasty and served in authentic hot cast iron bowls. Very reasonable prices will definitely go back! Dumplings also very good!

A small family Korean restaurant - located in Chinatown - we a pok bone soup with potato - was quick servuse and taste was great! Open on Monday - the most of the restorants in this area does not.

Good location, good service, good price and nice menu. I would give this restaurant 5 starts. For me, their foods are not too heavily marinated or salted. Tokbokki, bulgogi, kimchi soup and fried chicken are surprisingly yummy. The gamjatang soup is not as flavorful as other place but still ok with a good portion of pork bone!

Got the tteokbokki and bulgogi. The tteokbokki was very spicy and I really enjoyed it. Though my date found it a bit too sweet - same as the bulgogi. However, I like sweet food so I enjoyed both of them.
