This Sussex location has absolutely broken my faith in Kent. Not only would they refuse to price match with one of their own stores last week ($2999.99 on a $3699.99 tractor at the Fredericton South Kent on 06/04/22), but I eventually broke down and bought it full price on 06/09/22. Then I noticed on 06/11/22 that it was $200 cheaper ($3499.99) at the Sussex location, but when I called at 5:45pm on Saturday about the purchase I made in their own store TWO DAYS BEFORE, their manager on duty said to return to the store and they would refund the difference. I told her that I couldn't get there before close and she said that she would apply the refunded difference when I came to pick it up. They also said that after putting a hold on it that I had time to pick up my major purchase (the lawn tractor), but then called me on 06/10/22 to tell me that I had to come and pick it up right away and that they couldn't hold it. So I said the earliest I could do was Monday and asked if they would still honour the sale price and they said they would. They did not. So to recap: 1) They refused to price match another Kent store. 2) They went back on their word to allow us time to pick up the tractor. 3) They refused to price match their own store's sale price two days after a purchase. I told the manager that I would not be shopping at Kent anymore and she acted like she didn't believe me. Trust me... I'm never giving Kent another dollar. We'd had our Kent card for a exactly 30 days and racked up $7000 in purchases in that month, so it's not like this wouldn't have been a good relationship. I have a ~$5000 walkway and deck job coming up next month (July 2022) and Home Depot Canada is getting my money instead. Thanks, Sussex!

It took three tries to get the proper custom counter order. Both of the first two orders the counter was actually in the store but no one could find could find them. The first was the wrong depth. Vanity depth instead of kitchen counter depth.It took months instead of the a month to get the correct one. I don't recall an apology and I certainly didn't get a discount for my troubles! Including multiple trips to the store from out of town, or having to load and unload counters four times.One mistake, hey it happens. But having it in the store and can't find it? And hey, we'll call you back when we find it. Nope, let's order a third and we'll call you in 5 or 6 weeks...

Had a really good experience buying a utility trailer. Danielle was very helpful and professional. The ladies at the service desk were awesome. The whole group at the Sussex Kent's are great to deal with. Thank you all.

Clean store, alittle under staffed.It took me about 20 minutes to find someone in the store.But, nice friendly staff when I found them.Yard crew very nice and helpful.

I removed one star since the hours are not ideal. Not open on Sundays and if you get there last minute before it closes on a week day the staff seem rather inconvenienced. Also they are unwilling to price match home Depot since it's not considered local. I'd rather support my local store instead of getting things shipped in for free seems like a pointless policy.

Very disappointed in the pricing of items seen on their web page. Checked price before buying and looked like a good deal. (NOT) Product was advertised on their web page at $30.99 ea. only to find out that I was charged $44.49 ea. Bought 3 so I paid an extra $46.60 with taxes. If they are going to show prices on their web it should be noted as on-line orders only. This system gives a false impression of what you will actually pay when shop in person. So beware folks they are out to get you!!!

The men that work in that lumber yard are useless know nothing who hasn't got a clue where the materials are ,just wondered around shrugging their shoulders after numerous men attempted to find what were looking for ,finally a woman came out of the store and right away found what we wanted

Great staff who are always welcoming. We love taking our dog with us and the staff love getting to give her pats and hugs.

Good lumber selection, some area are lacking as it’s a slightly smaller store than some. Project desk staff are good.

Very pleasant shopping experience. The office manager was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and courtious and ensured all my questions were answered. I will continue to be a faithful Kent customer. Job well done.
