We recently used R.M Contracting LTD to convert our unfinished basement into a basement apartment. Their workmanship was phenomenal and I will be using them again for my other renovations. Highly recommended!

We had agreement for the construction of a front porch in August 2020. Measurements were taken and drawings and permit were obtained. Job was to commence in early spring of 2021. A deposit of $2000 was issued. In April 2021, we asked when he would be starting the job and he stated the job has been cancelled. Deposit was not returned.DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY

Walter installed my floors almost two years ago and I haven't stop finding flaws and short cuts he took installing it. I would not reccomend him.

Based on our experience with them, I would not recommend RM Contracting, for numerous reasons.They were hired to take down walls in our house, create structural supports to allow an open concept in our living room/dining room, drywall/plaster all around, re-do electrical where needed, etc. Both of our new supporting walls are noticeably leaning to the right, there are plaster/drywall tape blemishes everywhere, which can still be seen after applying primer, un-level trim work with un-sanded cuts and joints, etc. When asked to fix the issues, they proposed using bandaid fixes (i.e. putting a 1-inch layer of plaster to make the leaning walls appear" straight
