Hall Of Fades Barbershop

I’ve been coming here for nearly 2 years & im not really the type to write reviews but HOF deserves it. Mack & Auguste are my usual barbers, but I’ve also had my haircut by MK & Teddy. Everyone is so talented at what they do and a pleasure to talk to. Such amazing energy in the shop. Much love.

I recently moved from Toronto to Ottawa and finding a new barber was something I was nervous about. After doing some research online and looking for barber shops, I found Hall of Fades! I had a wonderful experience getting my haircut, fade & beard trimmed from the first time I went in. Tedy takes her time and always does a great job, I couldn’t be happier to have her as my new goto Barber! The reviews about this place and Tedy are true, she and they got skills!! First time I have stepped into a barber shop in 25 years. The shop was relaxed, welcoming, very friendly and professional.I had my hair done by Tedy who gave me an amazing haircut after a few moments assessing what style would work best. She was fantastic with the tools and super friendly. She gave me an unreal haircut and I couldn’t be happier.I’ll definitely be returning in a couple of weeks for a touch up.

I had an appointment set on their web site for 1:00 today. I arrived 5 minutes early out of respect, and then sat for 20 minutes, 15 minutes past my appointment time. The barber was having great time with his current customer and was still not finished - he was still actively trimming the appointment 15 min after my appointment when I ran out of time (my schedule) and had to leave. He had at least another 5 min still to go and i did not want a rushed job. I can only imagine they lost track of time.Unfortunately, not a great first impression There was no apology, not even an acknowledgement that they were late or had made me wait. Too bad, I had high hopes.*Although the owner promised someone would reach out to me to make it right, as of today, over four weeks later, I've heard nothing. They have no intention of calling. It seems keeping to their comittments and treating clients with respect is where the breakdown is. Hopefully they can get their act together. Very unfortunate.

This was my first time at Hall of Fades and I'll definitely be coming back.The atmosphere was laid back - good hip hop music + tv's had sports going on in the background.My appointment was with Teddy - she was great!We took the first 10 minutes to review some photo's to see what style(in her opinion) would best suit me - the style we chose, I'm very happy with it.We had a great conversation around family, sports etc.Look forward to our next session Teddy!Jamie

I had a Haircut there and the person there was polite and patient enough to ask for my preference and he had taken enough time to let my preference known and the service was also excellent.I had booked prior to the visit in order to avoid the waiting time.I recommend prior booking as there is a wait time for direct walk in.

I’ve been going to go see Teddy at Hall if Fades since July. She is awesome and does high quality work. so does the whole barbershop. It’s a great welcoming environment. The business is beautiful and well maintained, plus everyone is extremely qualified. They even do kids cuts and my mine loved them. If you are looking for professional, great quality haircuts this is the place to go to!

So happy I found this place!! I've been coming here every two weeks for a couple months now after trying it on a whim. Mack alway gives me a great cut, and learned extremely quickly my hair and the way it grows in. He outdoes himself every time I come in. The warm towel face wrap at the end is a nice touch. The shop is very clean and the team is always welcoming. This place has a great vibe! Would absolutely recommend Hall of Fades.

Amazing new place just open, I really like its decoration and chair but the barber disappointed me when started using scissor for the top of my hair, he has seemed as a unprofessional the way he was working and fluctuated my top hair, even I told him just level it but he wasn’t able to do so.I don’t know how their other barbers work but this guy has had no idea to work with a scissor.Meanwhile, they charged me $50 for a normal hair cut not even long hair Which seemed higher than the market price.Work 1*Value for money 2*Place *5
