Dr. Cobus Smith did a miraculous job on my double hip replacement. I had no surgical pain or any pain after the 3-4 days of pain killers in the hospital. Three years later I am still pain-free and can easily do long hikes. THANKYOU!!!!!

I recently fractured my wrist in many places had surgery with dr smith. He and his staff are kind and caring. He explained everything that was to be done before the surgery. I new that I would wake up to the external screws so it wasn't a surprise. .

Thank you, Dr. Smith, for giving me my life back! An amazing and compassionate doctor. Thoroughly explains all procedures and makes you feel at ease prior to surgery. A truly caring professional in every aspect with a wonderful support team. There are not enough words to thank you for my new knee!!!

This office has terrible covid protocols in place. Restrictions have been lifted, and people are wearing masks in medical spaces already, however even so, they only allow patients inside the office. This would be fine, except it's an orthopedic surgeon's office, and some patients are in wheelchairs that need pushed. Not only is it on the third floor, making accessibility already a challenge, but the entry door to the office isn't automated. When I went to wheel my mom in, not a single staff member got up to help with the door, they just watched. To top this off, they only allow patients into the office, so how is my mother, who is in a wheelchair, supposed to get into and out of the office on her own? Yes, perhaps a staff member could wheel her, except she is heavyset and it's challenging to push her in the chair. No offense to the staff, but none of them look like they could lift a bag of flour let alone push a wheelchair. Plus my mother is already scared due to her bone related illness, and not having a family member there for support is awful. As I sit here writing this, I've watched three elderly patients struggle on their own with the entrance door, the last one getting hit with it on the way out and rubbing her arm where it hit her. If Dr. Smith or his staff read this, you need to do better. Especially his receptionist, who is rude and does nothing but sit on her butt even when Dr. Smith's patients are struggling. Patients in wheelchairs should be allowed to be accompanied by the person that brought them to the clinic, and his staff need to not sit on their butts staring at patients struggling to get into the clinic. Do better!

Explains every thing in layman’s language spends time and does not rush through his appointment. Has a good sense of humour and is down to earth. Would recommend him to anyone needing Orthopedic services.Great Dr.

Dr Smith is great but his secretary has a extremely poor attitude, for over a year it’s been nothing but ignorance with her, I won’t go back as long as she’s working there, Dr Smith should either get her some help with her social skills or fire her, ive seen better attitudes with people working at Tim Hortons
