Carewest Glenmore Park

One East was my home for 6 months. The majority staff were amazing people oriented. Personable and kind. The place is understaffed but they do their best.Front reception staff deserve some appreciation people! They filter the visitors in making sure the follow outbreak rules etc. When thereThey get all the complaints, weirdos and requests. Pauline and rest are great! The security guard is nice and chats with the smokers at the gazebo with respect. Good bunch!

My Mother (101 yrs young) was there for seven weeks after falling and fracturing her hip. The care she recd there was excellent! I couldn’t have wished for a better place for her to go. Great, caring staff❤️

I'm sorry Bernadette BUT for a nurse you sure don't know a thing about care and/or compassion...perhaps you should choose a more suited profession!Rude and unhelpful are NOT good qualities for a nurse!!

I'm a 37 year old man who's been a resident of Carewest Glenmore park for a month so far at wing 1 west. I wanted to give some well deserved praise to some of the above and beyond staff here....Nurses like Rachel, Geoff, Debbie R, Debbie, Florita, Noha, Taryn, Maureen , Aida and Polly have been very caring and compassionate. Not all of the nurses are created equal though, Some of the nurses are quite rude and have attitudes. They come to you in the sunroom which is for the residents to complain about the noise, when most people here sleep with their door open. All the physiotherapist staff especially Lelani and the Social worker Sharon and the occupational therapist Julie have all been amazing and gone well above and beyond to assist me. Most of the staff are still good here but there's a difference between doing your job and actually caring about your patients. The residents here are mostly good although a lot of the older ones offer up there opinions and judge you based on your age so Ive got into it with a few of them. Give respect to get respect type stuff. Overall my stay here has been pretty good although of course I'm looking forward to getting home to my gf and our puppy:)

My wife is in here and the staff is very incompetent and the food is very poor quality. It comes to her room and it ice-cold. Don't let your loved ones come here

Excellent care and staff

Great place when you need help. Awesome staff that actually care about you, and i'm not just referring to the clinical staff, nutrition, housekeeping, maintenance, everyone offers at the very least a smile, which someday's can be worth everything.THANK YOU

Satisfied with the quality of care but concerned about the aging infrastructure. Could use renovations to improve patient quality of life.

My 96 year old mother has been in the Glenmore Care west facility since early December 2022. She had a fall and is needing Physio for rehab.I would not have any member if my family go here if at all possible. Its level of care is very poor. Staff do not engage well with the residents. Food is terrible and there seems to be little effort to try to improve.If you look at the other reviews they are dated 2, 3, and some from 4 years ago and have good ratings. That is no longer the case. This is not a good facility.There is no TV available in any if the rooms as well no telephone as there is in the Fanning centre.Part of rehabilitation is both physical and mental. My mother sits in her room 75% of the day except for going to meals.At her age, like many other residents in there, the rely on some sort of stimulation or ways to pass the time.There is nothing there.Not all seniors are adept at using iPads and smart phones today. They are a different generation and this place has forgotten that and seems to care ir do little to help the thrive. My mother is becoming depressed and is not able to see anything positive in the near future.An episode if Judge Judy would make all the difference in an otherwise long boring day. As i said, Fanning Centre has all the services to accommodate.So frustrated.
