Truly an awful experience with LivinLocal. After offloading two of our condos to the company, we were given lofty promises that they’d be filled immediately and would have high vacancy rates. We were promised occupancy rates of 85% - 95% yet we ended up with occupancy rates of 60% and 70%. Fast forward some months and we come to find out (from reaching out to the LivinLocal about something unrelated) that they have sat empty for a 5-week period without any sort of communication from the company. After questioning them, we were abruptly terminated through email, which broke the 90-day notice they are required to give per the contract they write. When they finally sent over the proper paperwork to terminate, the dates were wrong and the addresses were wrong. Completely sloppy and unprofessional. Our units were left damaged and we waited for two weeks to get our keys back after they did a shotty job fixing the drywall. That left us with a vacancy of close to two full months. We were left to figure out what to do with our two fully furnished condos while shouldering the financial burden of two units sitting empty. This was the cherry on top after dealing with subpar communication, ridiculous fees, and broken promises. Would absolutely NOT recommend handing over any of your properties to a company that lacks any sort of communication skills and tends to over-promise and under-deliver. Shocking way to be treated after referring two other properties to the company. I’m sure there will be some sort of response from the owner with BS reasons as to why we were terminated - take that with a grain of salt. Would be happy to share more details if requested. An extremely disappointing experience.

We had a 6-month stay with LivinLocal while our own home was being renovated. The location in downtown Vancouver was ideal, the facilities amazing. And, above all, the LivinLocal staff were available, helpful, and friendly whenever we needed them. I cannot think of a single reason to give less than 5 stars. Highly recommended!

The location and suite (at Avalon Mews) are one of the best I’ve seen in my first month @Vancouver. Quiet area and still quite accessible. It’s very pleasant to walk nearby be it super early mornings or late evenings. I wish they had long term rentals here.

LivinLocal has very high standards about their suites and knows what is needed for their residents to feel at home. They are industry leading and know the field inside and out. Wendy and her team had my furnished condo rented within days of my handing over the keys and have had full occupancy with very swift turn around since. The admin team is extremely responsive and everyone has been a pleasure to deal with. All of the paperwork required by my strata for tenant turn over has been submitted seamlessly by LivinLocal, and the invoicing they provide makes my taxes easier. It is a relief knowing that my property is well cared for, as well as the residents, freeing up my time and energy for other life matters. Thank you so much Wendy and team!

When our apartment flooded in April and we had to move out temporarily for renovations, Wendy and the Livin' Local team stepped in to save the day. From my first call with Wendy all the way through the process their team was friendly, responsive and incredibly helpful. Donna, Cyrus, and Mira were all great to work with and we are so grateful for their services and for accommodating us every step of the way!

Wonderful experience with Livinlocal service. Very helpful and professional. Our initial stay in Vancouver was hassle free thanks to them. In July I lost my home to a flood and was recommended to approach Livin Local for temporary furnished accommodation. I was blown away by the TLC I received right from the get go. Livin Local understands the stress involved in moving (especially in unwanted circumstances) and set out to make the transition smooth and worry free. The team attended to my every need, and I am still here many months later. They have not disappointed. Many thanks to the wonderful team including Wendy, Mira, Cyrus and Donatella. The maintenance and housekeeping staff have been exceptional too. I can't recommend Livin Local highly enough.

I had a chance to use Local Living and had Mira Burgess as our contact. She was extremely friendly, professional and helpful in getting us a place that we need. We were very happy with the arrangement and location, with very easy moving in and out procedure. We would recommend anyone that need a temporary housing service with them!

We stayed in Lougheed Heights for 1 month and had a great experience at every step of the way. The entire staff at LivinLocal are top notch professionals. They treat tenants as valued customers and are super responsive to every question. We come back to Canada once a year and will be using LivinLocal for all our future stays!
