While I’m “glad” other people found help here, for some reason, escaping hospital abuse, I can go rot on the streets for all they care.

I love the staff here and their great program. Wish they could get funded for somewhere bigger with better parking and more than one handicap space.

An incredible, safe and welcoming space. Have always enjoyed my time in the facilities. The staff are absolutely remarkable. They are kind, generous, and showcase the biggest hearts. Thank you so much for all you do!

The work the CMHA in Kelowna is able to do is in part due to the support of people like Aman Dosanj, who arranged for, and catered the 2019 International Women's Dinner. The services at CMHA fill a niche that is badly needed in this community. To be able to attend the IWD event in support of CMHA was lovely. From art therapy to practical social services the staff and counsellors at CMHA provide a much needed relief for people struggling to deal with the reality of mental health issues.

I live in a bc housing and cmha look after the bc housing but after thay place you in these places cmha dont have anything to do with anyone , if cmha is looking after the bc housing then why are thay not helping the peaple thay put in theses places . In my time here the 2.5 years there has been 3 or 4 deaths and thats one jumped off the 4 story and killed him self and the others took there lives ,if cmha is all about the peaple then why are thay not involved with the peaple no very good for peaple that tell others thay are here to help peaple . Or thay ask if you would like to move some where eles with in bc housing and yup you would like to and then you put all the paperwork in get apoved for your move but still after 1.5 years you still have no move what is this all about thay get your hopes up and make you think that you maybe moving but that is not the cass thay do that to play games . CMHA IN KELOWNA NOT A GREAT bunch of peaple .

I was born and raised in Kelowna and have been here for over 50 years.Myself and my family have dealt with Mental health issues. My personal experience with Canadian Mental Health was terrible. When you are at Rock bottom you should not have to take on another fight to get help and the was my experience with CMHA .KGH on the other hand had programs called Life Skills and later the Pandosy house.I accredit these people to saving my life.If you really want to help stop suicide you need to adopt a system similar to AA where you have regular meetings with people who no the struggle personally and are sponsors. We use to have a Anxiety support group here in Kelowna that helped more people than CMHA ever will.Hopefully Foundry Kelowna will not just be another government sponsored group looking the part.

Garbage. Rental Assistance for low-income individuals or at risk of homelessness is non-existent. Help is virtually nil in all departments. Low-barrier, extremely high-expectations in order to qualify for help. Useless on pretty much every level.
