Artisan Cheese is a real thing in Quebec and Les Iles de la Madelaine.Quick tasting and excellent options. Take lots home!!Highly recommend.

The service we received was top notch. We had to compete with a tour group, but the staff was attentive and answered our questions and provided sample products despite the busyness going on in the small space. It would pay to know basic French to assist with your communication with the staff.

If you go to the Magdalen islands, you have to go buy cheese at this fromagerie. The cheese is excellent!

We had an excellent presentation from Sylvie about the history, the process, and the varieties of cheese they produce. Included in her presentation was a bit of history of the islands and the farming that has occurred here. She also told us where it can be bought outside les Madelines and that they ship all over the world.

We were part of a tour group. They are all organized as they have a large area next to the store where they give an entertaining presentation on the history of that cheese factory. In our case they have us about 4 different samples to try. It is a very small installation and most of the cheese making installations are not viewable by the public. Regardless, if you like cheese this is worth visiting

Amazing quality and friendly service. Arrived just before closing time so missed the ECO Musée visit which reminds one about the Ben & Jerry museum in Waterbury, VTHighly recommended and better take several cheeses in smaller portions than one big because they are all so tasty!

A must visit place if your on the islands. How often can you buy cheese where the cows it came from are visible on the hillside. In the grandiose world of cheeses this brand would likely be overshadowed, but I've found good cheese to be lacking in the Atlantic provinces. To find a producer that doesn't just do eighteen versions of gouda was exciting. Grab a wedge and head to an ocean cliff side.

Nice place with friendly young staff. Had to go back a second time because previously they got overwhelmed by too many people. Next visit I was there by myself and had time be offered samples of their products which were very good. Upon leaving, had to wait for the herd of cows to cross the road.

A small cheese shop. I had the cheese curds which they apparently sell at 330 on Wednesdays and maybe other days too. Didn't have the other cheeses but I'm sure they are great too. Very friendly staff.
