Knight Street Cafe is a family run, all day breakfast spot. No frills, neighbourhood spot.Busy on a late Saturday morning with a continuous stream of people coming in.- Coffee ($3.00) - came by several times to refill our cups. However, their coffee is light. Better off grabbing a cup of joe from Pallet.- Knight burger ($13.95) - soup of the day (chicken noodle) had good flavour. The burger (7oz) was massive. Beef had a nice char but was still tender. Wish they toasted the bun.- Corned beef hash ($17.95) - corned beef was juicy and decent amount of vegetables. Hash browns could have been crispier.- 2x Knight St. special ($12.95) - sausage had a good bite, reminded me Hungarian style.- Butter tarts - complimentary butter tarts. My favourite part of our visit.Decent portions at KSC.

I have been meaning to dine here they opened; but for one reason or another, today was my first visit. A full breakfast was in order so I opted for the 2.2.2.2. (2 eggs, 2 maple smoked bacon, 2 sausages, 2 pancakes $15.75) everything on the plate was fantastic and it was nice to see the old school, plate-sized pancakes -very fluffy! The room has a tradition diner vibe with a bank of high tops opposite the tradtional table seating. There is even window bar seating to watch the hustle and bustle of Knight Street go by.Food was fantastic and filling. The unlimited coffee was nice and rich. A Family run and local small business deserves our support. Very friendly staff. Definitely worth a visit if you have a hankering for some traditional breakfasts and brunches. Vegetarian option are available!

Small little place you could walk by without even noticing. Decided to go in with a couple friends while travelling Vancouver. It became our go to spot for breakfast. Amazing quality of food ingredients and service!!!

Came to a lovely Asian lady with her adorable child. The place itself is quite small but the food is amazing. I ordered the egg Dundas and my boyfriend the Santa Fe burger. The portion sizes are pretty big, I could barely get a proper bite into the burger. Only thing I would say is if you’re picky with hollandaise sauce then maybe best not to order the eggs but I found it delicious otherwise and will definitely be coming back.

The food was a little salty for me but delicious. I especially liked french fries. The staff was kind.

The Good: no frills diner feel. Simple, inexpensive menu. You can see they leave the condiments out - AND cream came right out of the fridge when I asked for coffee. HUGE PLUS. No need to ask for a coffee refill. Owner / cook comes around to chat with folks, and refills your coffee mug.The Great: had the simple Knight St breakfast for $12.95 which consists of 2 eggs any style, 2 sausages/bacon/ham (no more English bangers so I chose the sausage which were VERY good), good serving of hashbrowns (though I'd love to have more), and 2 pieces of toast cut into halves. Potatoes are herbed so no real need to add ketchup.BEST of all: my final bill including taxes came up to $16.75 to which I dropped a $20. Definitely recommend if you want a simple breakfast, and not looking at ambiance :-)

I was thinking about giving 4 stars but I changed it to 5 because it is a nice hole in the wall place and worth stopping in if you are in the area. The burger was big and juicy, the produce was fresh (tomatoes were huge and sweet), the avocado toast was small but tasty, the coffee was hot and pretty good, the music playing was a fun mix, the pricing was very reasonable. Overall an enjoyable lunch

This charming local eatery truly stands out with its exceptional service and delectable food. The portion sizes of their meals are impressively generous, and what surprised me even more was their offering of fresh juices! The freshly juiced oranges have a delightfully creamy flavor that is likely a result of the process, making it impossible to replicate in bottled juices.
