Cardinal Place goes above and beyond to protect the health and safety of residents and workers and they provide exceptional resident care.

My dad has been at Cardinal for about 3 years. During this time the staff has done a great job taking care of him. I am grateful for that. The staff calls me immediately with any concerns they may encounter with him. The building is clean and safe. Everyone is friendly and always willing to help out in any way they can.

Despite having heard only glowing testimonials, when I first stumbled upon Cardinal Place, I found the name of this retirement home somehow dubious. Something about it didn’t sit right with me. I thought the name of the place was a little impersonal, a little too inhospitable for a retirement ‘home.’ I COULDN’T HAVE BEEN MORE WRONG. Our mother became a member in September of this year, and I have to say, any trepidation I had about the name, vanished completely and unequivocally. Cardinal Place works, it fits perfectly.This isn’t just any old place. This place is something quite special. This is a place where members, not clients live. This is a place where these members don’t feel like they are at home; this place is their home. This is a place with an extraordinary staff, who, at every level, treat each member with dignity and respect and unconditional kindness. This is a place where care never goes above and beyond because above and beyond is where they operate daily. This is safe place. This is a place where members’ health and well-being are of cardinal importance. This is a place that not only encourages family to drop by but facilitates safe social gatherings that foster community. This is the place our mom proudly calls home. Her 8 children and their husbands and wives and her tribe of grandchildren to sleep easier at night, knowing that she’s at Cardinal Place.

My dad has been at Cardinal place for about 6 months. I was very nervous at first but it turned out to be a fantastic decision. It is privately owned, they clearly care about the people and its small enough that the staff knows everybody. They have a great level of staff at all times and not like some of the horror stories I have heard elsewhere. I got calls whenever there were any health issues with my dad. It is clean and well maintained. They provide many services that other facilities would nickle and dime you on (TV, wifi, laundry, occasional extra support). The cost is very reasonable compared to others. The rooms are on the small side but it hasn't bothered my dad. I highly recommend it!

It was a wonderful night!!. The choir was very impressive!! Cardinal Place is beautifully decorated for Christmas and truly makes my mom feel like she is home. The food was delicious and all staff worked so hard and are so friendly all the time it amazes me!!. My mom is very happy there.Our family is grateful to everyone at Cardinal Place for everything they do to make my mom as comfortable as she is.Warmest Holiday Wishes to Mike Cardinal and Staff.

My husband and I have been residents of Cardinal Place Retirement Home since last October. We have been treated with the utmost respect by the entire staff. The residents all are our extended family now. Mike Cardinal the owner is the epitome of compassion, love and caring. We are truly blessed to have chosen this as our home"!"

My mom was moving back into the Windsor Area and there were many options to choose from but the best place for her to feel like home was and still is Cardinal Place. The staff, management, and medical staff made her feel very welcome right from the start. It is so nice to come and go and they make you feel very welcomed and try to accommodate to the best of their ability any requests. We had our family Xmas party there and everyone including the kitchen staff made the party seamless. The residences are a joy and in just a short time made my mom feel welcomed. The grounds, hallways, community rooms and recreation hall are always spotless. They have full camera security at all times and that truly makes my family feel that mom" is being well taken care of even during the night. Their activities are wonderful

Cardinal Place has been my sisters home for nearly 2 years. She had previously lived alone and been housebound for some time. Due to the great care she receives at Cardinal Place she gets her medication when she should

My Mom loves being at Cardinal Place. Our family is very happy with the care my mother receives. When you visit it like a home.

Every precaution necessary and beyond is in action during this health crisis. Highly recommend Cardinal Place as my own mother resides here.I appreciate the proactive rather than reactive approach here.
