Thunder Bay Automatic Transmissions & General Repair

I stopped through Thunder Bay due to car troubles last spring on my drive from British Columbia to Ontario.I knew instantly that I blew my baring exiting the highway. I decided to push my car another 10km at 40km into town. Of course, this would cause my tire to seize. I stayed at a hotel that night and walked down Cumberland the following morning to see what mechanics were open since it was a holiday Monday. I could see there was a gentlemen in Thunder Bay Transmissions working on an old truck. I approached him and told him what had happened to my ride the day before. He told me to come by in the morning and they would fix up my 91 Suzuki swift no problem. I dropped it off the next day with a couple of guys ( the owners I believe) and they were so friendly. I liked there vibe and I felt that they were trustworthy which is hard to find in terms of mechanics, especially as a young lady. They called me later in the day and said the part wasn't available at any of the local auto wreckers. They had to order the spindle and drum from Manitoba. I thought I would be there for another week at least. He called me the next day and said it would be ready the following morning. I couldn't believe that they would have it all ready so quickly. Sure enough I showed up and my car was ready to make the rest of my epic journey and the price was far lower than what I expected to pay. I know in BC it would have cost more as I had the same thing happen a year before. Over all the expertise, efficiency and friendly service was amazing. I highly suggest stopping here if you need a good mechanic.
