This was a place to tour some years back, but now it looks run down and in need of lots of cleaning up and repairs.

I have been going here occasionally for many years. It's an amazing experience every time. Very calm and spiritual place. The vegetarian feast offered here is always amazing. This place can bring out the kindness in anyone. Everyone in the temple are very welcoming. Anyone from any backgrounds can come in and feel welcomed. I will be visiting there as long as I live nearby. If anyone is looking for spiritual satisfaction, I recommend visiting this place. Devotees in this temple will be happy to answer any and all questions. Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare, Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare.

Went for Janmashtami celebrations. This place, though old has been kept nice. Experience divinity and peace here. Every person involved here seems very dedicated. Very Good prasadam feast. Wish it were closer to home. After dark please take main roads to get home and not follow Google blindly.

I love the calm and peaceful environment of the temple. I really enjoyed the ashtang yoga classes at the temple on Sundays. Guru Govind Das teaches traditional yoga that consists of meditation, breath work and body movements.I highly recommend his class.

Loving, Caring,. Embracing community of Devottees, they bring you in you can go on a tour of the Mansion, and learn the great history, to see how the ISKCON, came to own the building,. Then they feed you Persadum lovely indian dishes, of course its vegetarian, but with the spices and sweets, the give your taste buds, a Kirtan dance, the deities and gift shop, that has the books, about Krishna Consciousness, or the reasons, of living a healthier construct, of the way to live.

We signed up online for the yoga class with Guru Govind Das, which we got to do outside on the patio and it was refreshing. I am so thankful for his teaching. Then we participated in the free Sunday night feast with delicious vegetarian food. Every one we talked to was so nice and welcoming, I’m grateful to have shared time with those at the temple.

Amazing temple, and a beautiful place. Very peaceful and serene atmosphere, as it should be in a temple.

ISKCON Detroit is a wonderful Temple located close to the Detroit River. There is always a peaceful ambiance here and the crowds are moderate during large events. It is located at a historic mansion that was donated to to ISKCON. Recently they made some renovations to the entrance, but everything else is authentic from when the mansion was built. Every Sunday, whether or not there is a Hindu Holiday, there is a spiritual Kirtan and splendid feast.
