Tigre Géant

The people who work there are very rude. We don’t speak French very well and they kept yelling at us to either take a shopping cart or leave in French while we were having trouble understanding. I understand the rules are because of social distancing but they could’ve told us in a kinder tone. We misunderstood what the lady working there was saying and she became furious with us. We felt intimidated and unwelcome. I don’t know if it was because we can’t speak perfect French or if she’s simply impolite. Either way, it’s not how you handle customers. We left as soon as we could, almost in tears of embarrassment. We will never step foot in this store again.

I found Francine from Canadian tire's husband, his name is Edward and I believe he is suffering from short man Napoleon syndrome, lol! Now I only shop at giant tiger occasionally but I've noticed I was getting the stink eye in my past visits (mostly from Mr. short man Napoleon syndrome) but decided to ignore it, well HUGE, BIG, TALL (lol) mistake! So I grabbed a few things off of a shelf that said 50% off and brought them to the cash and Edward is charging me full price so after a female employee tried to rectify the situation Edward is still charging me full price for partially used unboxed items so I said please look at the sign so Edward had to walk over to the other side while loudly speaking his disdain towards me in front of 2 female and one male Karen, now we all know how bloody thirsty Quebec Karen is especially when there a chance to see black, brown or english blood so they immediately start mocking me and the one Karen that had so many wrinkles her face looked like a folded accordion that was left in the desert (I would imagine just looking in the mirror at herself is justice in itself) starts making weird body movements as if to mock me physically (even though I was standing completely still) while the male Karen looking 9 months pregnant (most likely late for a feeding at the Zoo that gave him a day pass) starts attacking as well with Karen number 3 looking like the crypt keeper while radiating a glow of passive acceptance! Now I certainly wasn't going to leave with Edward and the 3 Karen's verbal whip marks without speaking up so I said to Edward you are unprofessional and you caused not only abuse by the three (Karens) in line but you yourself were outright abusive, and for what, I DID NOTHING except try and shop in your store! So Edward stands there (all 5 feet of him) and instead of taking responsibility for the entire situation he allows it to continue so I walked away not only at that moment but permanently from giant tiger and any store that uses passive aggressive racism towards people of color, people that have a different mother tongue, and people who offend the Karen's of Quebec for unapologetically maneuvering in a society that the Karens not only believe belongs to them but is merely just tolerating us! And one more thing to the Quebec Karens, it's time people of color start pointing out all YOUR EXTREMELY UGLY FLAWS and allow you to REAP what you've been SOWING for countless generations, SO ENJOY THIS REVIEW KARENS!!!

This is a smaller size Giant Tiger. It has most of the things a tourist wants for a temporary stay at Mont Tremblant. The cashiers are friendly and bilingual. I bought pillow cases there for 50cents and now they are a dollar each. I browsed through the DVD and they are mostly in English. The price ranges from $2 to $10. Surprisingly they also have good DVDs for children like Franklin or berenstain bears, all$3 each.

This store is better than the others in the region. The one and only problem is that they have a brand new parking lot with disabled parking spots and are closing the rear entrance as of September 7th. Because of this closure, we will need to park in the back then walk thru an alley to get to the store's entrance. Disabled generally means that there is an issue with mobility and in the case of me and my husband who is a military veteran, cannot walk for long distances. Until they change the back entrance policy, we will not be able to shop at this location. I hope the managers see this and rethink their plan.

They are nice and kind.

Clean and well organized. It's a small location so don't expect a large variety but decent selection and nice service.

Great selection on household items at a fraction of the cost. Folks should come here before dropping $$$ at the big box stores. Also got a very flattering dress and a body shaping camisole for less than $20! Shame though there aren't more sizes. I also wish they had more kids' clothes and not just for toddlers.

One fantastic store!!! I have never met such helpful staff and workers. I was slightly confused with some item locations as I was in Canada for the first time and the supermarket was new to me. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Cannot wait to come again!
