The gentleman at the cash seem to really hate his job. Don’t know if it was because I was a female, but he didn’t seem to want to take the time to chat with me, seemed super annoyed with my two questions… But seem to be quite pleasant to the gentleman behind me..

They are getting harder to find home hardware's. The more condos for up the, the more small business disappear. Great staff.

I have been going there for years. Very unfortunately the fellows that work there always appear unengaged. If you ask anything, you will get a response but rarely is any help or information volunteered. Our neighbours have mentioned this too. I still go there as it is convenient, but the atmosphere is dull with no help offered. This is just how it appears to be run. For instance , when I walked in the store today, the gentleman behind the counter was doing a crossword, looked up and answered my question to direct me, then promptly went back to the crossword..... I did once get some great help from someone who was friendly, knowledgable and forthcoming, but i do not know if they are working regularly there. With the fabulous Deer Park branch having to close (eviction due to condo replacing it), I expect Hillcrest can enjoy more business. Guys, a little customer appreciation would go a long way......hope you are reading these.

It is what it is, if you're a homeowner and need a fuse or some wd40 or paint should be fine. If you're a contractor, this isn't a building center so call ahead.

Long time customer....They are super helpful. always have great advice and suggestions....they don't follow you around the store BUT they are never too far to assist

My mom (who does not have a cellphone) says the people working here are super helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. She's been to another home hardware in her own area and did not get even close to the kind of quality service that she get from this one.

Everyone there is super friendly and extremely helpful! The gentleman that helped me out today even sent me off with some helpful product tips to make sure I didn’t end up with a mess! I have no clue what I’m doing so I always come here and know I’ll get great help!
