Apex Osteopathy

My experience with Kevin has been phenomenal. I came to Kevin 12 months post ACL reconstruction surgery after being told there was no guarantee that my knee would ever get fixed or that I would ever play soccer again. I had been dealing with arthrofibrosis, no movement within the knee cap and not being able to get full flexion. After just one session with Kevin he was able to get movement within my knee cap. With only 4 sessions with Kevin I went from not being able to walk down stairs properly for 12 months to now not only being able to walk down stairs normally but jogging for 20 minutes straight as well. Kevin’s approach is unique from a physio, a chiropractor etc his approach is assessing the whole body, listening to the body, focusing on mobility and light weight movements. With Kevin’s approach being unique I have been able to make great progress in getting back to playing at the professional level. Kevin has always had an answer to my questions and even if I don’t see Kevin for a couple weeks I am comfortable getting ahold of him if I have questions regarding the exercises given during our session or if I need a better understanding about a part of my recovery. Kevin has helped me get back to doing what I love and I would recommend him and his services to anyone.

In September 2021, I fully ruptured my right Achilles during a training drill while attending fire fighting academy, I couldn’t complete my training. I had surgery to repair the tendon October 1. As soon as I was ready for treatment, I called Kevin! He expertly and confidently guided me through the exercise progressions I needed and got me back to “game day” ready. 6 months post op, on April 6, I returned to the academy and graduated! I have full strength in my Achilles and zero setbacks to date. I could not have achieved this without Kevin. His hands on osteopathic techniques kept my healing scar mobile and tweaked any minor aches and pains along the way. I can’t say enough about the care, support, education and treatment I got at Apex, Kevin is the real deal and one of the best.

Kevin is one of the most knowledgable and effective practitioners I've ever worked with. As a very active person, Kevin has helped me recover from a hip injury and a shoulder injury over the years. I now see him on a regular basis with a focus on prevention which has allowed me to continue playing all the sports I love.

Coincidently, the very next week I had a foot injury that doctors said would end my season. With Kevin's healing hands, I was able to return in 9 weeks and finish the season.
