We can’t say enough good things about Oscar. He was friendly and easy going which made us feel very comfortable. We both hate having our pictures taken but Oscar made it fun! He had some great ideas too! The pictures turned out beautifully and we couldn’t be more pleased. We would use Oscar’s services again and would highly recommend him to everyone!

Oscar's work is absolutely professional, but that trait doesn't cloud his creativity. He works expertly with weather conditions to get the most out of your time together. Oscar and Mena were an absolute dream to work with. They shot both our engagement and wedding photos. The kindness, attention to detail and passion for what they do were what made sharing our special day with them so amazing. Oscar took photos the photos for my wedding this past summer. The photos are beautiful, some almost surreal and he particularly did a great job with the couples shoot and first look. However, we were extremely disappointed that he didn't take any photos of two very important members of my family, despite it being a small wedding (30 people). There were plenty of shots of random objects or the back of my head, but NONE of my aunt who is in her 80s and flew here from California (during COVID) to be at the wedding. Didn't realize that with all the other things going on it was also my family's job to keep track of who he had taken photos of.

Oscar did an amazing job taking photos of our special day! He was able to capture all of the tender and meaningful moments that were shared between my husband and I and our guests. He has created a journalistic photo memory of our wedding day that will be cherished forever!

Oscar has a natural talent for photography! He is extremely personable, kind and creative. He kept us laughing and smiling the entire photo shoot. He made me feel comfortable and confident having my photo taken. I absolutely loved the way the photos turned out! Oscar and Mena are absolutely perfect to work with. As someone with family and friends of different colour, shapes, and sizes- it was important to me to choose someone with a talent for shooting EVERYONE. I have 0 complaints. I could not recommend Oscar La Verde Photography more highly. From viewing their work alone- I felt confident in choosing Oscar to be our wedding photographer. The talent was obvious. We had an initial meeting over Zoom and Oscar had the best energy. He's very down to earth- he immediately made us feel comfortable. He and I conversed in the months before the wedding about our vision and the things that were important to us. He and Mena made sure to shoot EVERYTHING we wanted. On the day, it was immediately comfortable to work with them both. We laughed, we had our silly moments, and they worked to keep us on our schedule without it feel stressful or rushed. Their approach was collaborative, kind, encouraging, and innovative. We got our sneak peaks the next day and wept looking at them. We got all of our photos back within 3 weeks of our wedding. Not only were there more than our package actually said we'd get back- each and every photo was absolutely stunning, perfectly edited, and captured A MOMENT. I'm still crying as I write this, just thinking about how beautiful the photos are. I want to add that the day of our wedding was one of the windiest days of the year- I was worried about the picture quality with me and my husband's hair crazily blowing around; but they still got every shot we wanted and we look good in all of them. I would hire Oscar La Verde Photography over and over and over again. Again, I cannot recommend them more. Oscar and Mena will not let you down. They'll have your back. Words can't accurately express how wonderful of an experience we had working with Oscar and his lovely wife Mena. Oscar's portfolio speaks for itself and the quality of his work initially drew us in. We interviewed a few photographers already, but Oscar had this calm presence which immediately put us at ease. Oscar was professional, organized, funny and friendly. Mena captured some video highlights, and was so friendly and caring. Although they're professionals through and through, it was inspiring to watch this loving team of spouses work together. And it felt perfectly fitting for us to have them capture our big day. From our enagement photos to the big day - all went off without a hitch. We had a few major changes to our venue and location which was stressful, but again Oscar put us at ease and quickly maneuvered to accommodate our change of plans without hesitation. They helped us organize the day's timeline to ensure all required photos were captured. They were meticulous to ensure all important details were captured right down to the little details. Our wedding guests even commented how much they enjoyed having Oscar and Mena as well, noting their friendly demenor and stealthy ways of being in the right place at the right time. We loved our enagement photos, loved the few sneak peaks of the wedding that we reveived the next morning (wow!!), and are eagerly awaiting the rest once they're ready. We could not recommend anyone better for photos in the area, Oscar went above and beyond for us and it really showed in the quality of his photos and guidance during the shoot. From the first call we had to meeting in person for our event, Oscar was attentive to detail, warm, and showed his true artistic colours! He supported us with posing and feeling natural and candid during our shoot; getting portraits with the whole family was important to us and he made sure to get them all in!
