Sense, A Rosewood Spa

From the moment we stepped into the Sense Spa we already felt a calm and therapeutic energy. Rounding the corner to the front desk we were greeted by Roxanna, a beautiful goddess like energy- soft and attentive. She was extremely polite and conscientious of our every need. With grace and poise she showed us the facilities which were very inviting and clean.My massage therapist Marisa was amazing. We had great conversation and she was magic with her hands. She gave me personal recommendations on how to take care of my body and ensure that I was rolling out the fascia. I would highly recommend her services.At the end we were again being assisted by Roxanna and had a beautiful exchange that left us all in tears as we walked away. I cannot wait to visit the spa again

I came to Sense for a facial because I received a gift card (purchased directly from Sense Spa Rosewood) for my birthday. The facial itself was very nice and relaxing but the service that followed was surprising for Rosewood hotel group.When I was going to pay with the gift card, they informed me that there was no money on the gift card, which was strange since I’ve never used it and there was quite a significant amount on the gift card. I told the staff this and she asked whether “I’m sure”. She suggested that perhaps the person that gifted this to me may have used it, which is awfully rude. I asked if she could find out how I suddenly could have lost all the money on the gift card but she was unable to do anything. Instead I had to personally call a number because apparently the spa and gift card provider are separate entities. The person on the call told me she could see I had money in my account so she doesn’t know what the staff was talking about. It was quite frustrating having to liaise between two members of the same company that for some reason could not directly communicate with each other for an issue that was affecting me, the customer. Eventually after 30 minutes of going back and forth the gift card somehow worked.Unfortunately, the relaxing facial turned out not to be so relaxing by the end.

I can not recommend the Sense spa enough. I have never had a better massage or facial. I have gone twice. The first time I splurged for the longest package they had. It was worth every penny. It started with the most amazing full body scrub. You lay on a massage table underneath a long shower head that has five spouts. Followed up with an incredibly massage and a facial. The girl who performed the services made sure to ask what areas needed attention and did a thorough assessment of my skin. The chair you sit in while you get your pedicure is amazing. Feels like you're floating.The second time I went it was very last minute that they managed to squeeze me in so I didn't get to request the same technician, but I was so pleased with the woman who ended up doing my massage and my facial the second time as well. I highly recommend getting there early and taking a dip in the pool and relaxing in the lounge. Can not wait to go for my next appointment.

I had a massage with an RMT, Ashley, but I asked for a less therapeutic approach, the Georgian Revival massage with warm oil. It was amazing. She didn't poke and prod like a lot of RMTs do. It was so relaxing. The chair is neat, and can be set to warm. The whole experience was blissful. I will definitely come back to see her.

Top quality service for the price offered. Highly recommend the massage treatment. The employees are great with their touch and experience.

My husband and I booked a Rosewood Retreat: 6 hours of perfect relaxation. And it was. Our technicians, Marisa and Rachel, were amazing! The scrub got rid of all our Albertan dry skin, the massage eased away our CoVID stressors, the facial made us 10 years younger and our mani-pedis prepped us for a night out. The lunch in mid-afternoon is as also delicious. The only downside was that they were booked the next day so we couldn’t book another session! A wonderful experience and highly recommend.

I have been trying to contact the spa for two weeks about booking two months advance for a birthday treatment. Today I had to call and finally was told there was no availability. I could’ve spent these two weeks looking for another place… not sure why no one is checking emails or not returning phone calls.
