Nice interactive place! Buy a birthday bear at the price of the age you turn… but additional for added features & clothes/accessories!!! Pricey but we are paying for a brand!!

I was overcharged for an item today. Because I live 5hrs away it’s not so simple to just “return” and have it refunded. The person that answered the phone just said she would talk to her staff for the future. Totally disappointed that there are no alternatives to be offered living so far away and being overcharged with no way to just come back…The positive of this visit is that my kiddo was super excited to be at the store.

Priority number one for half my family was to be in the bear store. Kids were very satisfied. Several items broke within the HR but the store was very good at doing the refund/exchange.

DONT ALLOW AUTISTIC KIDS!!I am from Sask and went to Alberta to visit family. Had my 4 year old twins in BAB in west Edmonton mall. My one daughter is autistic and was having a hard time waiting for her bear to be filled. When it was finally our turn the worker was trying to get her attention. I mentioned to her that my daughter is non verbal so she went to fill my other daughter bear with the stuffing. The worker mentioned that BAB workshop isn’t a place for my autistic daughter. I have complained to the company but they must not take concerns seriously as they don’t return phone calls. DON’T GO!!RUDE!!! INCONSIDERATE!!!

I brought my children here for the BAB experience and couldn’t have been more satisfied. The 2 ladies helping us were extremely friendly and great with my kids. There were tons of options for all interests and my kids had trouble choosing which one they wanted! They had a ton of fun and I’m very happy that the staff was so enthusiastic, it made the experience fantastic. Can’t wait to come back

I took my 4 year old niece and we had a great time! The female employee that was stuffing the bears was wonderful. She wasn't pushy at upselling (scents,voices,etc) and I could tell she liked children by the way she interacted with them. The other staff members were also helpful, friendly and attentive. I liked that there were a wide variety of price points. My bear was $16, dress and shoes $16.50. My niece's bear was $16, dress and shoes $16.50, wand with headband $8 There are lots of expensive extras like a motorbike, strollers, accessories like hats, sunglasses, wigs. Your stuffie comes with a birth certificate that you create yourself, a cloth heart that you put inside before it's sewn up (after wishing on it of course) and a cardboard pet type carrier that my niece loved coloring at home. We spent about an hour there. There is a sale wall with a wide variety of clothes starting at $8 and bears ready to build, starting at $12. I also liked the idea of their bear hospital" Lifetime guarantee... bring your sick bear in and they will fix it. IE: seam comes undone

First post: Literally just left the shop. Was hoping to get my baby’s first bear as I’m due in less than a week. Big line up as only one person was stuffing bears. I can’t be standing for that long so I was seating on one of the chairs. White lady wearing a bandanna scolded me for using the chairs saying it was for staff only. They were 4 empty chairs I tried to explain to her why I was seated and she kept being rude. Definitely what I was hoping to be a great experience for my first and only child and future memories on bringing her on her bdays will never happen again as WEM is the only location in Edmonton.Second post: Manager contacted me back quickly and had the time and patience to listen to me. She is definitely was of the rare managers that exist that take their time of their busy day and make situation better. Thanks to her I will definitely be back!!

The people here are awesome! Came in less than an hour before closing and they repaired my jumbo bear no problem and swapped the scent quickly (make sure to call in advance if you can to make sure it’s not busy if you plan on doing this too). The girls i talked to were super kind and lovely to deal with, both on the phone and in store! Awesome location!
