They are very clean and the store is well maintained. People who work there are knowledgeable and eager to help. They always want to make and maintain a friendly relationship with the customer. There is a very positive vibe in the store. It seems like an equal opportunity workplace as I met a very sweet girl working there. Not very many women work in a meat store like that. Everyone is very respectful and caring. I strongly recommend this store.

Definitely my favourite butcher in Toronto. If you want a nice cut of meat or if you want a different cut, you will surprised how much those guys like their job. Cooking tips, meal suggestions or simply to order something in advance.. You won’t be disappointed. Everything they do they do it with passion. Once you find a butcher like that in Toronto, you won’t go anywhere else. If you have a chance, try their tomato sauce. I was extremely sceptical when they offered it to me but now that I tried, I won’t have to make my own anymore. Cheers to all their team!

Absolutely fantastic local, family-run butcher shop. Friendly staff, wide variety, and high quality produce from local farms. I've been going there for the last 4 years and it has been my favourite butcher shop in the East End. Thank you, George and the crew, for always being so knowledgeable and helpful ❤️

Best butcher in town! High quality meats, and friendly + knowledgeable staff. This is the only place I ever buy meat from. It is always fresh and always delicious. Steaks always come out absolutely tender, chicken is so delicious, and my lasted obsession is there home made sausages. Best tzatziki in town too!!

I’m a Portuguese VEGETARIAN who makes everything from scratch at home yet I still come here faithfully for their home made Piri-Piri sauce. Only 4 ingredient- no oil, PURE MAGIC! Not too spicy, very very flavourful: 12/10.

Best butcher ever point. Our go to for almost everything. You can call in advance for special orders. The lamb chops are a bit pricey but out of this world and beefs cuts are good value. Plus, the staff is always welcoming and of good advice :)

For more than 4 years, I walk more than 2km at least once a week to get my meat from this shop. Best I have found in Toronto. Quality meat is important for a good living. I have got this account for 10+ years and it is the 1st review I ever write. I love their meat so much.

I have been buying my meat at Ellas for a couple of years. The store is bright and always clean. The inventory and variety is large and the quality is excellent. For some reason I always think that this is the best place to buy any kind of poultry. There is a large, very knowledgeable and friendly staff who always seem patient with the customers trying to make on-the-spot decisions. As others have mentioned, the price always seems fair so why buy from a chain supermarket. And I agree that their own piri-piri sauce is terrific. There is a paid parking lot on the side of the store and a few spots on the street. This is one of the only places I can but fresh chick livers which I love for making pate. I recommend.
