A great way to escape the city without having to drive too far! The trails are free, parking is plentiful, staff are always friendly and helpful and the trails are great for experienced hikers and those looking for a casual stroll. One of my favorite places to hike even within a 3 hour drive, stunning views!

An all-season hiking trail for beginner to intermediates. The entire oval shaped circuit is about 15 km in total length with plenty of parking places located at multiple points. Best place is to park in the lot of the large-ish Parc Chartier-De-Lotbiniere and then follow the trail markings to the main path (called sentiers). Alternatively, follow the directions to park at lot P2 (on Chemin Bourget) to immediately access the main path. It is also adjacent to the tree-climbing park Abraska Rigaud. We walk during all seasons and it never disappoints. Enjoy!

Beautiful location nestled in the side of Mt. Rigaud. Hiking, biking on the many trails for different skill levels is a joy. Especially now during automn. The trees are ablaze with colours. Close to town. During winter there are hiking, snowshoeing, and cross country trails.

A single path rolls through small hills are gentle for all age groups.You need to walk for a while to get into the forest. Plus it can get quite wet in the autumn.
