Was able to get my brand new ocean dock fabricated and installed under 6 weeks thanks to Calta.

I was referred to Calta Constructions by my friends who recently had some work done by them and I have to say, the most professional and courteous team I have hired! They are not only efficient and prioritize their clients, but their work is impeccable and proves to be high quality and ever lasting. By far, the easiest, most accommodating company to deal with. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a dock installation!!

Calta installed new floatation for our float home. We are extremely happy with the results.

First of all, I swear to my heart that all my words are true.Secondly, I do not recommend this company, even to the worst person I hate.I have never experienced anything like this in my entire life. They promised to get the work done in a month or two (before Christmas) but the whole process actually took us over 6 months. Once you paid, it's very hard to get a hold of them. There were a lot a frustration during the process.They cancelled us twice, on the day of work. My husband took days off work and all of us were waiting to corporate with them and then they called that they aren’t coming. We tried to understand their excuses because we know unexpected things could happen. They did show up on the third time but after all the arrangement we made, they said the work couldn’t be done. We had to reschedule our family trip twice due to those changes. Despite all the extra cost of us, we gave them time and chances over and over again as long as the work is good and then we would be okay with it. That’s our ONLY demand.Finally, we are scheduled. The work was done horribly. I don’t know how they measured it but the piles they ordered for us were 60 ft but only 45 ft were needed. They had to cut them. Of course we paid for these 4 x 15ft extra materials. All the piles were not on the same level and made our dock look extremely wired and ugly. The lids were left open for weeks. They said they'll come back but never did.Oh, they also swiped extra $1,500 from the contract without any notifications to us. The contract says $70,615(GST included)+2.9% credit card fee which should be $72,660. But they charged us $74,146. It's $1,486 extra.Worst experience ever.DO NOT HIRE THEM TO DO ANY WORK. They are untrustworthy, unprofessional, and un-respectful to you and your time.

We just commissioned Calta to build a new dock. They came with recommendation from a neighbor and thus far we have been impressed - helpful and knowledgeable. We look forward to getting our new dock.
