I have been going here for years and never leave sad, disappointed or anxious. My hair dresser Melissa is incredibly kind and very talented. Everytime I leave I feel gorgeous and refreshed. It also helps that everyone who works there is kind and nice to talk to.

Great quick cut. Lana was great and handled everything in the salon without leaving me waiting despite being the only hairdresser on a Saturday. Very professional and friendly. Heads up: they only accept cash and cheque.

I've been going to melissa for a couple years now - she is amazing!! Shes super good with my curls. The rest of the ladies at the rage are always friendly when I go there. Highly recommended!

My mother and I came to Rage to get our hair done for my brother's wedding. They did a great job with my updo (they curled & pinned my long hair up in a bun which lasted all day and all night). They also did a great job with my mothers hair which is shorter than a bob (they gave her some great volume + curl). We felt super glam at the wedding! I'd come here again to get my hair done for sure :D

Laura did my hair today, I just showed her photos of how I want my hair to be done. She’s amazing tho. She did it perfectly.

Mellissa is a phenomenal hairdresser! It's always a pleasure every time I'm there. I've been going to The Rage for what must be over a decade and I intend to continue for as long as I'm in the Okanagan. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and always a delight to chat with. Highly recommended!

I came in as a first time client and asked for about 10in chopped off and styled. I love it! Laura knows hair. So much fun to talk with throughout the process. I will definitely be a returning client at RAGE. I've been looking for a solid hair salon for years and I found it! She also does microblading and perms!

After moving here from the Kootenays where I had an amazing hair stylist, I thought I’d give Rage a try. So many people were saying awesome things about this salon. I lucked out and met Laura! She is amazing at her job, is friendly and very lovely to talk with. I showed her pictures of what I’d like and away we went. First it was the haircut for me, I felt like a million bucks when I walked out. Then a few months later, I wanted to get blond highlights put back in my hair. Again, Laura came thorough! I looked like a vibrant woman again. As we got to know each other, I asked about waxing and she said she doesn’t recommend it and said she does sugaring. Well, there was another box ticked off my list. I made an appointment to get sugared and came out happy a camper once again! Thanks to the universe for putting this wonderful woman in my life! Highly recommend Laura! In anything she does! Great job and will continue to go to Rage to get pampered by her! ❤️

I used to live in the area and went to another salon in rutland who always took care of me and worked with me realistically to achieve my hair goals and not be discouraged by “box dye” as an excuse to not slowly get where you need to be while maintaining hair health. Visiting and went with one of the more higher rated places close to where I am; rage. So disappointed because when I booked the appointment they thought I wanted to go from black/dark brown roots to blonde right off the bat and we’re discouraging me before I even said medium red, once that was out of the way yeah not a problem. From the get go Laura was planting seeds of doubt but no solutions, is it me or is it because you cannot do it? Why take me on? My roots were not touched up so obviously bleaching needed to be done in stages (which many other stylists have done quite well for me!) she said only ten mins apart from the lengths and right then I knew it wasn’t going to turn out but trusted the process.. platinum white blonde roots when I never needed to be that light.. now hesitating on the dark parts telling me she doesn’t want to wreck my hair. I’m fine with it a second round of bleach cool I knew this was going to happen but being blamed at every stage instead of timing things better just sucked. Hair was streaky because of highlights two years ago as expected and honestly I was happy I didn’t expect perfection with my hair history the different reds were beautiful. However during each bleach massaging it into my scalp burning me (six scabs the size of quarters and smaller ones) and leaving me in the chair and nobody else around unattended to say I’m uncomfortable until it’s time to wash it out, open wounds on my head and putting me into a dryer chair leaving me to either disappear into the back or cut someone else hair instead of taking five mins to blow dry me was unprofessional. I sat in the chair for 35 more mins wincing in pain sinking down to avoid the heat because what was I going to do just walk out and not pay? Sopping wet hair and hurt scalp just thrown into the dryer I don’t get it. Insult to injury I am two toned roots to lengths not even close bright red then muddy and she knew it hours and hundreds of dollars later tells me to come back before I leave next week and she will “fix it, darken the roots at the cost of product” tells me not to wash my hair for two weeks even after I said I have a sensitive scalp and will break out if I don’t.. had to wash my hair 8 days later dried up bleach still in it dandruff scabs etc and what I thought was an acceptable red is almost brown and just ugly. To think I’ll have to go pay for this to be fixed when I sat in a chair alone for almost five hours already is ridiculous. Two stars because my hair wasn’t easy but someone who knew what they were doing would have given better results or broke it down over time and at the very least would have checked in on a client. Streaks and two toned I could have done myself for 50$
