Love, love, LOVE Jessica! Super friendly, very kind, best hype woman ever! Jessica made me feel so comfortable and taught me a lot that I didn’t know about my curly hair which has been… a JOURNEY to get back. So grateful for her beautiful work, I got six cornrows done and she would not settle for anything less than perfection! Such a great experience, thank you again Jessica!

This was my first and last experience at a beauty school. Not worth the cheap price, I will be sticking to professional salons from here on out. I would give this place a 0 if I could. Still in shock from the horrible haircut I received. This truly felt like the worst case scenario, I was very worried and almost didn't show up, but in the end I figured it couldn't really be that bad, and the reviews seemed promising. It most certainly was that bad, and I wish I had decided to skip my appointment and go to a real salon. I did not have any supervision with my cut. I asked for a trim and a few very subtle face framing layers, which I thought would be simple. The student who cut my hair completely botched the entire front of my head. She did not listen to what I wanted, nor did she ask any questions. I appreciate that the instructor was able to salvage my hair more or less, and comped the service, but it honestly was so upsetting I didn't know what to do or say. I came here because reviews said the cuts would be supervised. I am extremely upset that all of these mistakes were made with no instructor present, and only after I was given the ugliest most wrong-looking cut I've ever seen in my life did the instructor offer to fix it. She should have been there from the start. I do not think this student was at all qualified to cut real hair, and it shocks me that she has been in the program for 6 months already. She did not seem to understand just how badly she messed up, which was equally as frustrating as the lack of supervision.The instructor told me to wait a month and then come back, I will absolutely not be returning.

Shoutout to Josh for the haircut!! He trimmed my hair up nicely and I would definitely recommend going to Josh for all your hair needs. His attention to detail and passion for hair artistry are unmatched. With a keen eye for aesthetics and a deep understanding of his clients' desires, Josh creates stunning hairstyles that exceed expectations. The teachers and students in Marca college are very friendly and welcoming. You cannot find any better place for the price they offer. This is my first time there and I am sure I found my go-to salon. Thank you for making my hair so pretty Lykha.

I come to Marca for my hair a couple of times a year. I recently had a great experience with Emma! She gave me a great haircut and was so friendly and professional. Definitely the best student I've had there so far.

Visit to marca: May 3rd 2023.When i first came into the hair salon, I was greeted pleasantly by the director (I assume) and was seated promptly with Navjeet.Navjeet and her teacher went through the process of what i was looking for (hair cut and soft brunette balayage) and the required treatments my hair will need for a soft brown balayage. Initially I was looking for something towards a chestnut colour but the final product leaned more towards dark auburn as shown in the pictures. Albeit, Navjeet did ask me for what colour I thought was best but I wished there was more guidance from a higher up to recommend something more accurate.At first it took a bit for me to adjust to the difference in what i really wanted but I found the auburn-brown really suited my skin tone way better than i thought it would. I guess i was lucky it matched well anyway!The haircut was phenomenal! Navjeet was so quick and skilled with her sheers. I asked for a 90s layered style and was left with exactly what I wanted for the cut.Overall, the colour wasnt 100 what i was looking for. The layered cut was quick and spot on. Looking forward to coming back again!

Marca College did a great job by offering services to the community in our Seniors Wellness program. Delia Fiorante sent fantastic students that kindly provided services for the elders. Four esthetic students provided hand massages and polish changes, and four hairstyling students provided haircuts for older adults. The Spa Day event was special, despite each Wellness event being unique. The senior citizens thoroughly loved this day despite being quite busy. They frequently acknowledged their satisfaction with the services and mentioned how they felt after receiving massages. They complemented one another on their new haircuts and polish changes. The overall atmosphere was positive. This event was organized to accommodate older adults and allow them to engage in self-care. Self-care has numerous benefits and improves an individual's disposition, mental health, and physical well-being, precisely what was seen.

It would be a shame not to give this place a chance. I received better treatment here than I have at high end salons in the city. Super fine attention to detail from each level and a very clean and friendly environment. Thanks for the amazing work and experience! And shout out to Cecile. She was lovely and is definitely going places. Amazing colour. I love it!

Very happy with my hair colour results today with Yemi at Marca. She really listened to my own recommendations and I left feeling really good about it. My hair feels great too!
