ZERO STARS... I went here 17 years ago and they glued in top and bottom permanent retainers. They didn't make room between teeth so I can floss and get in between teeth to clean. Still have glue behind teeth and now I may have to get some teeth removed as they are rotting in between where the glue and built in retainer is. When asked they say it's normal for the glue to be there and it happens". Currently looking into legal advice! I don't care how bad your teeth are THIS doctor an place will make you end up in dentures or false teeth! Also very creepy that Dr mcsweeny seemed to take on male customers before ANY females already who had a scheduled appointment before them."

One of the best there is. I was referred to rite bite and had a very poor experience. I call McSweeney's office and got right in. All the girls and Dr. McSweeney remembered us from 10 years previously, when putting on my niece's braces. She has a disability, and he was really great with her. Now I'm taking my daughter there. So glad I made the call

My family has used this orthodontist office for generations. We all have beautiful teeth. The level of professionalism and care are excellent. We now have our granddaughter at this office and I chose to bring her here, from out of town, with no dental plan, because I know I will get the service she deserves. I can trust the results will be amazing, completed in an appropriate amount of time and at a fair, not overcharged price. Only reason im not rating a 5 is because the location is a little challenging

I got my braces here as a high school kid and I think they did a great job then- I love my smile! However, in the past 2-3 years I have had to have my permanent retainer replaced 3 times. I guess they don’t make them like they used to.I find that even as an adult, I’m afforded the exact same “respect” as a high school kid by the staff. Appointments do not begin on time, I wait a long time at the end of an appointment to pay in between reception answering other phone calls, and there seems to be very little understanding of adult concerns. For instance, today I had to cancel an appointment due to the flu, and the receptionist offered to book a follow up appointment with me less than a month after my baby is due and there’s absolutely no flexibility to offer me an earlier appointment. When you are working with people (not a computer program), there is always a way, but the staff here don’t seem able to accommodate real life, adult concerns.

I had a similar experience to other posters. My permanent retainer dislodged and was causing discomfort. I made an appointment to have it shipped and reglued iterating that I was willing to pay for the complete replacement.After taking a day off from work, travelling from Toronto to Kitchener- because I mistakenly assumed that the original orthodontist would assist, they refused to replace the permanent retainer and said I could wear my removable retainer instead. As if that is a longterm solution. Unfortunately, I wasn't confident enough then to insist that the appointment I made for the replacement be kept, and I ended up paying to have the painful wire snipped off.Absolutely terrible service. I'm going to have to have additional othrodontic work fix what should never have happened in the first place. An awful experience. I would advise people seeking orthodontic treatment to do their research and avoid this practice.

Excellent orthodontist and staff. Fairly on time, appointments, good pricing and great at explaining the process. Took two kids there after poor experience with another orthodontist in the area.

If your child has special needs, don't go here. He was very dismissive of my questions about how autistic children do with braces, went on to imply that autism is a made up disease 'because it never existed in the old days', and declared that my son doesn't have autism based on asking him one question. We will not be back.

Dr McSweeney treated myself and my two sisters in the early 80’s. I had a wire break from a permanent retainer in 2016 and he fixed it.. very solid work. He is now treating my son. As a parent I appreciate his understanding of how a mouth developed. Instead of just jumping in he is monitoring the baby teeth and working with our dentist.His bedside manner is always pleasant and professional. He is a gentleman. His staff is busy but friendly. I would recommend him to any of my family or friends.

Doctor is very nice and thorough, knows what he's doing. His staff however is a different story... sitting there chatting amongst themselves instead of checking patients in for their appointments. Leaving patients in chairs waiting for upwards of 20 mins. Above all, absolutely no sense of urgency with the receptionist. As stated, Dr. McSweeny is lovely, fast, and efficient, had there been better service provided by the other staff, the visit would have been a positive one. A 10 minute X-ray appointment has turned into an hour and counting....

Dr Kevin McSweeney and his team are very friendly, professional, and thoroughl. I am more than pleased with the results. I now have the smile I always dreamed of. My sister, her two sons, my son and I have all had excellent experiences. I would recommend this practice to everyone. Affordable!
