Bringing home a Cane Corso may be advised against to first time dog parents but we had the best guidance since the 2nd Week with our puppy - Nate, Dan and their whole team at Dankroft are exceptional! They trained us to raise Carino and we couldn’t be happier and more proud of the result. Even post graduating the puppy obedience, we always returned for the group classes. The Dankroft Team has always promptly responded and with utmost patience. Highly recommended!!

This training was above and beyond what we were looking for!For context:We adopted our dog (lab mix) from a farm at the age of 4. She's now 7. We did all of our training at home with the help of Google, and Youtube and Tiktok videos. We also believe in ongoing and continuous training.Our dog was bitten at a dog park a year ago and started to resource guard and have quicker reaction times (going directly to scruff grab vs. bearing teeth or growling).1. The assessment with DK9 was super easy to book and the assessor Nathan, who became our trainer, was super knowledgeable and informative. I felt like I had something to go home with and work on right away.2. We loved the tailored approach! Most trainers and facilities we spoke to wanted to put every dog into a cookie-cutter program. While DK9 might recommend a similar program for your dog, we only needed 3 private sessions and 2 group sessions since we had been training with our dog every day for the last 3 years.3. The sessions were phenomenal. Our dog was having so much fun and was always ready to work - so were we! We were able to ask questions and get feedback on things like diet, reactivity, daily routines, pet beds/accessories, etc. We also learned how to properly use a slip lead and prong collar, which we now only use for corrections (hardly ever now).4. We were able to take the knowledge we learned and apply it to fears we never thought our dog would be able to work through - like police horses. Now we're so astonished by her lack of reaction to said things.We can't thank Dankroft enough and we honestly talk about it and recommend it to everyone we know. An absolute game-changer!

Nathan was truly amazing and helped our family with the training for our dog Scarlett. The leash skills and obedience that he taught us has changed everything for our family. We just completed the “Dog Manners & Obedience” program with our 1 year old boxer, Benny. The trainers at Dankroft K9 are exceptional and the facilities are top-notch. We’ve learned so much and are very grateful to the team (shouts to Dan, Britney, Nathan & Carly) for helping us grow as handlers by developing and refining our technique. Benny absolutely loved attending the sessions!!! We look forward to coming back for pack walks and more!

My experience with the Dankroft K9 team has been life changing for me and my dogs. I first walked in to Dankroft K9 and i was skeptical at best. I even at first dint understand or agree with the type of training he offered. But that was me being uneducated. After a few month Dan reached out to me asked me if i had questions and concerns. After a discussion he invited me back to have a second consult with him. I thank the lord everyday for Dan reaching back out, It turns out that myself and my dogs very much needed this style of K9 training. This is a fun place for your dog and you learn several valuable skills to handle them. Classes run a bit shorter sometimes which I didn’t like very much, but the customer service is great and they book me for an extra class. Group classes are a great way to safely train your dog to be around other dogs without interacting with them. I didn’t feel comfortable physically correcting my dog the way I was shown twice as I saw my dog becoming fearful of the trainer and confused, but Dan showed us other ways to correct her and it was much better and it worked perfectly. Now I practice the things learned every day everywhere we go. Overall good experience and highly recommend the school. Just keep in mind this is for assertive people, no for the soft.

We are beyond happy with the training that we had with Nathan and Dan they were extremely informative and personable. We enrolled our one year old American bully in the 10 week boot camp after he was showing signs of reactivity and fearfulness, our dog went from barking at other dogs while on walks, with his tail down and spiked back to a happy obedient dog who ignores other dogs and people and pays attention to us. We were taught how to properly handle our dog and to treat him as such. Enrolling in this training was the best thing we have ever done for our dog! Thank you so so much Dankroft K9 family for giving us and jefe the confidence and guidance we needed!Side note: the homework is key, crate training is an absolute must, emotional disconnect is hard but gets easier as the weeks go on, ask any and all questions you have while you are there so you can get the most out of the boot camp for yourself and your dog.

I visited Dankroft K9 this past week and it was truly an inspirational experience. Coming from the USA I wasn’t sure what to expect but was blown away by the level of expertise I found amongst the entire staff at Dankroft ! Not only are they world class trainers, but Daniel and his team are truly passionate about dogs and truly love what they do! The time they take in explaining and ability to demonstrate result based techniques is extraordinary. Fantastic facility, fantastic trainers and world class group of folks. Best Dog training ever!Our 2 year old reactive border collie had a lot of behavior issues. Dan and his team provided the best training specifically for our dog. They showed us a lot of great tool to use.Dan totally changed our dog’s and our life. Our dog became calmer and obedient. Now we can take our dog to public spaces, other people can come to our house.
