I was very happy with the support I rec'd from Rent1. I was unsure of the equipment I needed to excavate my back yard retaining wall. Rent1 got me the right machine for the job. We completed our excavatiion in 1 day, and the operator was happy with the machine. Machine was clean, and in good condition.I will use Rent1 again and would recommend them to others looking for similar equipment.

I work for a company that requires heavy equipment rentals (mini excavator, backhoe) 2-3 times a month and for the past year we have been using RENT 1 exclusively. They make renting heavy equipment very simple and easy. There is always someone who answers on the phone when you call and their delivery of the machine is on time whether we need the machine tomorrow or a week later. If you need to rent a reliable machine, on time, without a hassle try these guys out, they won't disappoint.

I used this company for the second time doing a house project as I had such a good experience with them 4 years ago. Sadly the second time the customer service wasn't nearly as good. The excavator didn't get dropped off until 10am on Saturday morning, which meant we didn't finish my project that day so had to have the excavator for a second day and they charged me two full days even though there was only 4 hours on the machine. Not impressed, will not use them again.

I was visiting my parents in Surrey when they decided to rent a skid steer to level off their lop-sided backyard. It was a spur of the moment thing and I told them they would never find a rental in the one or two days that I had left in town to help them. We went online searching anyway and found rent1. As soon as we saw that they were open 24 hours a day 7 days a week we had hope. Then when we called, they recommended a machine that would be best for us to get the job done and within 6 hours the machine was in our driveway. I was shocked at the service and the prices were better than the other companies that weren't open 24/7. Win win! I would certainly recommend this company to others who need heavy machinery.

Rental of the ditchwitch track loader (755) went well. Worked great for moving large amount of fill and smoothing out the yard relatively quickly and in a tight location to access..People (think it was Tony and maybe Kevin from Rent1) … were helpful.Track came off the machine twice (in a 6 days) despite being very careful – bit unexpected.Kevin confirmed how to get the track back on (on a Saturday) … was a bit different then past machines I have worked with… so that was helpful.Thanks.Dale.

We had a short notice need for a small digger and Brian made the whole rental easy and quick. Overall, a positive experience with great pricing, excellent service, quick delivery and the machine worked perfectly. I would recommend these guys to anyone. Thanks.

I rented a John Deere 35D from these guys. Kevin looked after everything without any issues. Everything was on time. The operator he recommended was amazing. He got everything done perfectly. I was also given free hockey tickets to the Canucks game. And these tickets were not nose bleed tickets. We’re talking lower bowl centre ice.Amazing service, great equipment and wonderful staff. Will definitely rent from them again.

DIY Home owner challenge:I'm up for any challenge, decided to tackle a redo of my perimeter drainage system. Turned into a huge job!Rent 1 was awesome to deal with! Rented a JD35G mini excavator from them. Service was fast, and on time (within an hour of stated time dealing with lower mainland traffic) basic instructions were thorough and it was FUN. I want one!! The machine was CLEAN!! & it handled some coffee table sized rocks with ease.Looking forward to my next project requiring machines from Rent1Rob

We have been renting an excavator from Rent1 for 4 months now. Whenever we need to swap to a larger machine the Rent1 crew have been great to accommodate us. The machines we have had are all brand new and such a dream to use! Wonderful bunch of people at Rent1!
