Opus Infant & Toddler Daycare

My son Logan attended Opus from October 2020 to August 21, 2021. He really enjoyed it and learned so much. The teachers Leanne & Hyree are patient and kind. Logan has lots of energy and the teachers really take the time to talk to him and explain things to him. He asked about the teachers a few times since leaving. The place is clean and big enough for the teachers to keep on eye on the children and ensure they are safe. I can tell they really put in the effort to keep things clean and tidy - especially during a pandemic. Its really nice to see them come home with art projects that they create at the daycare. They go outside almost everyday, which is nice for them to get some fresh air. The principal , Christine was very helpful with my paperwork and answered any questions I would have. I have recommended Opus to a few other families. I would give them 5 stars if there were cameras for parents to check in on but otherwise I have nothing to complain about.

My son attended opus for around 2 years and the experience has been excellent. The teachers treat him like their own son. He looks forward to going to daycare everyday. The owner was also very accommodating in all our requests.

BEWARE. It has been over a month since my child has left this daycare and I still have a bad taste in my mouth. I waited a whole month to write this review to ensure it was not my child's behaviour but everything to do with the daycare worker at Opus. I have nothing bad to say about the centre itself or the owner. However, the head Early Childcare Worker here left my child traumatized and upset daily. At the time, my 12 month old was the youngest in the group and for two months, was in this daycare upset and crying for the whole day with no indication from the workers. At pickup, when I asked how he did, I was always told he had an okay day, some days they mentioned lightly that he cried, but nothing to the extent of how bad it was. I noticed my child began to act out of character at home, not his usual outgoing self, and most notably had shifted from his regular cry to a very subdued whine almost as though he was afraid to cry loudly.Fast forward two months, I am told out of nowhere how poorly my child was adjusting and that he had two weeks to get better"

I would highly recommend Opus to anyone. The teachers are amazing, caring and always put your child first. My daughter has been going to Opus for the past year and a half and is in love with the place. I love how they have a private facebook group where they post photographs and videos of your child daily. Christine is easy to deal with as well and answers your questions in a timely manner. The backyard is very spacious leaving lots of room for all the kids to play in. I can't say enough good things about this place.

My daughter loves the day care and if she loves that means they take care of her with respect and love ❤️ Christine helped us a lot. It was our first day care and she always explain everything with very patiently. Thank you

A truly awful onboarding experience.They expect a $25 deposit without giving you any information about waitlist, any contact information to get a hold of them, or any information about the daycare program itself.1/5 for the website.1/5 for business practices.If you are this bad at doing business, I can't imagine you're very good at child minding either

The teachers are so kind and loving at this daycare. My son has attended Opus since he was 15 months and he has learned so much! The owner is also great and accommodating to individual families needs. Highly recommend!!

My son attended this daycare when he was 13 months old. The owner was professional and responded to any communication in a timely manner. She was always open to receiving any feedback or suggestions to make the centre better. The centre was very organized and clean. They had a variety of activities scheduled for the kids, including arts/crafts and music/dancing. There was lots of room in the backyard, with a great variety of toys and play spaces. The teachers had great rapport with the children- creating a fun and positive, educational and a safe environment, for the kids. I would always get daily updates on my child's progress, meals and nap times. And I really appreciated the pictures of the kids each day, so you knew what they were up to. I would highly recommend this place!

Our daughter has been at Opus for over a year and has had a great experience. I can see how much she loves the staff, and she comes home with new skills she’s learned every week. The daycare has a lovely fenced in yard to allow a lot of safe outdoor time! The capacity is 8 children which is nice if you prefer a smaller group as well.

That was really good infant-toddler daycare for my son! He started it at 22 months old as his first daycare. The manager always answered all the questions and inquiries in a timely manner. Moreover it’s in a quiet location with the convenient parking on a street. Kids are doing many art projects (at least one daily) that they really enjoy and learn a lot during those projects. Teachers are very engaged and showing passion for care giving. I loved to see on fb page some pictures or movies from my son’s day. Kids have lots of fun on a relatively big backyard that is well equipped for their age group. I couldn’t be more thankful for all the support I received from teachers during the potty training and preparation for transition to the big kids daycare! Very good memories!! 100% recommended!
