After having an awful experience with The Tax House in Burlington, I took my business to Rachel at Tax Pertise and I couldn't be happier! She was professional, efficient and 100% accurate on my return/refund. The entire process only took 2 weeks and the cost was reasonable. I used TaxPertise for the first time this year. I will be going back next year. they are very professional, they meet with you and ask you the required questions and the next day your return will be ready for pick up. My refund amount approved by Revenue Canada was exactly that TaxPertise prepared on my return. I also feel that the fee charged was very reasonable.

I’ve been using Tax Pertise for at least 10 years and found their services satisfactory. However, after dropping off my income tax return for the year 2022 I was informed that I had over contributed to my RRSP in the years 2021 and 2022. Yes, I realize that is my fault for not paying attention on my income tax assessment notice, but however, I’m paying a service I would’ve at least thought the accountant would’ve picked this up maybe not in 2021, but especially 2022 so now I’m looking at paying interest and a penalty for 24 months. I asked the accountant why this wasn’t picked up she said she didn’t know and was sorry. that’s unacceptable. I have worked in the corporate world for 30 years and I would never ever tell the client I don’t know I would look into it she didn’t offer to look into it no compensation, so I will never ever be returning there again.

Went there last year for a simple tax filing. Though they did what I paid for, I found the woman I worked with to be unfriendly. When your income depends on your customers, a simple smile and friendliness goes a long way. Decided to go somewhere else this year, all because my experience was poor. Something to be mindful of for future customers.Otherwise, the tax filing was done well.

Service was efficient and satisfactory. Did not however appreciate feeling like I was being rushed out during both drop off and pick up of my documents. Actually had the staff member that was assisting me interuppted to be informed her next customer was waiting. Have had better customer service albeit less expertise at H & R block. Drop off and pick up was done by two different employees. Staff was also unable to give tax advice for future returns. Cost of return moderately priced. This is a great place for simple returns. Will not be returning solely based on customer service.

This is my second year with them i find them very friendly and helpful. Seems to be quick turnaround and they called me a few times last year to make sure i could get everything im entitled to.
