Visited Peggy’s cove, a definite must SEE if you come to Nova Scotia!!!!

Definitely the most knowledgeable visitor's center i've been to in Nova Scotia! They took the time to help me with my travels. A young man names Aonghus helped me out and I have wonderful memories now of the places he sent me. I hope they know what they've managed to hire with him it's rare to come across such a good front person!!

Great visitor information centre, has a bunch of brochures and documents on the surrounding area and the staff are very knowledgeable. Parking was free here, but you'd likely want to come at a time it's not packed - usually mornings or later in the day. There's public washrooms. The walk to the cove and lighthouse is no more than 10 minutes.

Very resourceful and super friendly staff.

A rich variety of information about tourism in Halifax and other attractions in Nova Scotia. I met a welcoming and friendly woman who provided details of interesting destinations in NS.There are hundreds of visitors coming here not only sight seeing but also enjoying seafood especially lobsters.

Be careful on wet or icy rocks, they are very dangerous. It is a very nice area as you can see

Peggy Cove is a beautiful place and a few years back was difficult to get to. My daughter has a hard time walking so she wouldn't be able to get to close. This time they made is more accessible so anyone can enjoy it. Plenty of bathrooms and views of the ocean.

Small but nice visitors center. Helpful staff, ample parking even for RVs.

Four us spent the week of September 3rd touring Nova Scotia. Other than the reserving accommodations ahead of time for the first and last night, we planned on finding accommodations on a daily basis. We happened to go into the Visitor Information Centre at Peggy's Cove and spoke to Aline. She suggested we'd be better off planning ahead for each day and offered to help. Well, she spent ONE HOUR with us pointing out places to see and suggesting places to stay in each area. She then brought up each place online and then called them for us to get the rates! Aline was absolutely terrific. Helping here was Joanne (I believe, apologies if I have that correct).At any rate, if you're in Nova Scotia and in the Peggy's Cove area and need some site-seeing advice these are the folks you want to talk with! Excellent service.
