Holiday Park RV & Condo Resort

We have been to Holiday Park several times and will be back. Check-in is friendly and efficient. Staff are willing and able to help if there are problems. The sites are roomy. We've also stayed in a condo room and found it comfortable and clean. This is a nice park.

I normally avoid rv parks (like the plague). I find them crowded and noisy with little or no greenery: however I had a discount coupon and needed to dewinterize my rv so thought it was worth a try. Overall i was pleasantly surprised. More of a resort than a typical campground. I was there in early April so not too busy. Only drawback was the outdoor pools weren’t open (too bad I would have enjoyed the lap pool) but the adult only hot tub was open. The sites are pretty packed together but most of them seem permanently occupied so nicely maintained with trees and grass etc. Very friendly check in staff. The little cafe was nice. The cinnamon buns were amazing but you have to get them to keep one for you because they sell out fast. Not sure I would pay full price ($85) but if you like rv parks this is definitely one of the better ones I have been to.

I spent a week in this resort and I found it great. Rooms and washrooms were very clean and comfortable.All suits are well equipped with TVs, DVD players and kitchen appliances and they have barbecue in the balcony.Suits don't have laundry inside but the complex has coins laundry.There is an small café that only serves breakfast and the options are very limited.I loved the pool as well as the common areas.Service was great, definitely, I will return to this place.

Stayed in their timeshare condo studio. Very friendly staff and people. Got to ski and play pickle ball during the spring week I stayed. It's in lake county which has some great wineries and a cindery down the street.

Place is not bad! Amenities such as pools and hot tubs and libraries and pool tables and games are nice. We have a timeshare and have a week stay every year. The condos are very dated. The size of the condos are quite pleasantly large, just an odd design.The receptionist lady who checked us in was very nice and helpful. We mis booked and reservations was accommodating and the receptionist was helpful with giving directions and wrote us a little wine tour we could do, which we did, and it was awesome!The water here smells absolutely awful. We asked maintenance to come look at it and they ran a conditioner and it still smelt really bad so that just must be how it is.Our last day we couldn’t run our microwave at all without blowing a breaker, despite no lights or anything else being on in the house. Not sure if it had to do with our neighbours or what was going on but the units are very old.Overall could use an update to makeIt a bit more enjoyable.

Went when all but 1 pool was open and there were limited activities. Has the potential to be a 4 star when everything is in full swing. But it's a great set up with condos and RV sites. Showers, parks, pools & hot tub, fish pond, little par 3 course, lake / beach, off leash dog area, restaurant & convenient store (which I'm sure will be new soon as they caught fire September of 2020). People are nice. Rooms are older but still do the job. Must bring in your own drinking water as it's all soft water.

Owners are lying to get your money. Holiday Park claims to be a bird sanctuary, yet Duck Lake and Holiday Park are not registered anywhere under the Government of Canada's website. It is absolutely illegal to claim to be a wildlife sanctuary without being registered with the government. Not only are they lying about protecting ducks" but their "wild bird sanctuary" is also infested with carp. Carp are a well known natural predator of ducklings. I suggest the owners get their lies straight and stop claiming to be a wild bird that also houses the birds natural predators. I will attach the list of British Columbias ACTUAL registered bird sanctuaries as well as holiday parks false claims just in case anyone is wondering."

Only a 4 because the lake seems dirty for swimming. Based on what I saw, I wouldn't, but the cabins and the park are well upkept and fairly tidy.There is also one 6kw car charger with a cord long enough to service two cars side by side.
