To say I’m impressed with Dr Brittney Emery at Flamborough Family Eyecare is an understatement. As a new resident to the area, I thought I’d give this highly rated optometry clinic a try, and I will now be a patient for life. Dr Emery diagnosed an issue with my eye that 3 other optometrists had no idea what the problem was. Dr Emery did research on her own time, provided me with proper medication, and my vision was back to normal in a week. As soon as my vision was back to normal, she performed an eye exam and chose the perfect lenses for a new set of glasses for me.I am beyond happy with the service, prices, and expertise at this clinic. Wish I could rate it 10 stars.

I visited Dr Emery at Flamborough Family Eyecare and will definitely be a patient for life! Dr Emery is welcoming, knowledgeable and professional. She helped ease some anxiety I had around the exam and was very patient. She even helped me choose and order some new stylish frames. From start to finish, the experience was smooth and enjoyable. Looking forward to picking up my new glasses shortly!

We brought our three boys aged 2-5 for their first eye exams and had a great experience. They are all somewhat shy and generally are quite anxious around doctors, but the optometrist had a wonderful manner- friendly and enthusiastic without being condescending. They have been asking daily to go back and have their eyes examined again. Highly recommend for kids.

This is the best eye docs office I have ever been too. Dr Todd has the best people skills always makes me laugh. And the rest of the staff is just perfect and knows exactly what they are doing. Shirley is so kind and knows what she’s talking about really made me feel good in the frames I was picking and then when I picked them up she already had them sized perfectly no changes were needed. I would definitely recommend this office to anyone seeking help with their eyes

Dr. Ruhl is really good! He cares about his patient, spends time to talk with his clients, has great sense of humor, very knowledgeable and personable!

Dr. Ruhl has been my optometrist for many years. He is excellent in all aspects of his work. He takes all the time needed to address any and all problems you may have. He is extremely knowledgeable and personable. I would highly recommend him to all ages from children to the elderly.

Today was my first time visiting Flamborough Family Eyecare and Dr. Ruhl and his staff were excellent. I usually dread going to the Optometrist but Dr. Ruhl actually made my appointment enjoyable! He is extremely knowledgeable, has a great personality and his care is impeccable! He actually took the time to explain things to make me feel comfortable and answered all of my questions thoroughly. His staff were amazing at helping me find an appointment time that worked and they are so kind, helpful and professional! I really can’t say enough about Dr. Ruhl and his staff and I’m so glad my family and I now have such a fantastic Optometrist!

If only google will let me rate this office 10 stars or more i would. Saw Dr. Emery for an eye exam cause i get a lot of pain and headache behind my eyes. Nearing 40 i do have a bit of prescription now. Both distance and near but i didn’t want to wear progressive lenses. So she put me on anti fatigue lenses and oh boy it worked like magic! Less headaches now and i can read up close. I told her that she’s a genius! The staff are also amazing!! Staff are super friendly and accommodating. They help me pick out the perfect frame and now i get so many compliments from other people asking me where i got my glasses from. I will always recommend Flamborough Family Eyecare to my family and friends.
