Moonlit Canopy

Best place to visit in Manitoba if you don’t want to go Up north. This is so close, the owners are so cool. The only thing which is kinda disappointing is the wait for booking for your stay. The website is interactive but the wait is so long.Most relaxing place I know so far.

Had a great experience. Was more than what I had expected! Dome is very spacious (with a king as well as queen bed) and has all you need for night stay including kitchen appliances and dishes, cleaning supplies etc.The surrounding area is beautiful, it's all hilly region with a lake and beach and lots of trees. Very close to nature. The towns nearby are very peaceful for a visit. There's a hot tub and bbq on the patio as well for you to enjoy.I didn't give 5 stars because customer service can use some improvement. As based on their email, you can ask for towels if you need but when you do, they get panicked and think you created accident in there.Otherwise I had great experience overall!

They advertise lots of privacy but inside you can clearly hear everything your neighbour is saying inside or out. It is still nice but not very clean. The amount of spiders up where the second bed is was ridiculous. I counted about 17. It is also situated right on the golf course so in the morning you wake up to golfers watching you. The hot tub was nice and the kitchenette was clean and good. But not worth a visit back especially with the hassle of booking and the price. And come checkout day (10am) the cleaning ladies came early. Like 9:45 and waited outside of the front door making it very uncomfortable to leave and pack up last minute items. Just disappointing

We stayed in the winter and it was a great little getaway! Nice and quiet with a fantastic view. We had a couple problems arise but when we contacted the numbers provided they were very fast responding to us. The dome itself is beautiful inside and the bed was very comfortable. Such a plus having a full bathroom in the dome itself and a small kitchen. One of my favorite parts was that every dome has its own private hot tub! Overall we had a fantastic stay and will def be try to snag some days again in the future!

Staying at the Moonlit Canopy dome was an amazing and relaxing experience. A beautiful and cozy space with all the amenities. We will definitely be returning to enjoy all the seasons!

Our stay was amazing. Truly unique experience that checks all the boxes. I am so tempted to give one star just to keep this as a hidden gem. Thanks Dave

Pros! Domes have everything you need, beds were comfortable and view was great. Lake is beautiful and not a far walk.Cons! Extremely hot with plus 15 temperatures and you have to keep the curtains closed to cool it down (which defeats the purpose of having the view). Hot tub had a heavy layer of sand at the bottom making it very uncomfortable. They also had the septic tanks emptied mid day which smelled for the afternoon - seemed odd not to to this on checkout day when no one is there from 10am-4pm.

The domes at Moonlit Canopy were an incredible experience. They are comparable to the domes at Mont-Tremblanc in Montreal and better in some respects. Clean, fully-functional and beautifully designed. We enjoyed the coziness of the fireplace, the convenience of the BBQ, and the serenity of the patio. The Hot tub was the highlight for us and really drives home the incredible value of this retreat. We used it as home-base as we visited the wonderful small-town surroundings in and around the area. Rarely saw or heard the neighbors in the other domes. Truly a great experience and can't wait to go again!

SPRING EXPERIENCE/SNOWDomes were awesome! Just mid day they were very hot! I couldn't imagine what summer would be like! The domes are at the bottom of a valley off a dirt road so lots of mud! But the rolling hills, the nice people and quiet atmosphere makes these domes very special! Only downside was you can not see the stars in the domes due to the reflection.Hiking trails close by like Rock lake nature trail, the best scones are at the Rolling Pin and views on top Cow point were great! Would definitely do this again !

Great website. What a hidden gem! A friend will be going this Summer.
