Can't say enough about the amazing service I received. Roger in the paint department was so,so helpful with helping me out with a mini blind that needed to be cut and shipped to inverness since that store does not carry them (may I add free cutting and shipping).Thanks a million Roger for being so helpful and patient with me. Has everything you need but the staff are not always that knowledgable. This is not a reflection on the staff, but a reflection on the business as training should include basic things like the location of products. I recall asking for help and no one knew if they had the product - it was a plumbing adapter which I ended up finding on my own. If you're willing to look around for yourself go to Kent, if not, then cut your losses

Most of the staff have changed over these past 18 months, and it went from bad to worse. You're lucky if you get a good staff member. Otherwise, I get what I need and leave. Makes me want to shop online.

Waited at project desk for 10 minutes as employees walked past with no acknowledgment. Finally stopped someone who called for yet another employee, who suggested we go to the contractor's office for what we needed. Went there, stood at the desk while lady was on the phone, obviously waiting for service. She hangs up and goes into another office space without even looking at us, we wait another 10 minutes with no service and leave. Go to highland building supplies, get immediate service, and a quote and ordered all within 10 minutes. Kent is a waste of time.

Looks like a Lowe's, a Rona, and a Home Depot combined. They seem to have everything that the other stores I listed have. They seem to be a home improvement store. There are 2 washrooms here. The store is rather large. There are all sorts of sections in here.First time being in a Kent. They are definitely more pricier than the Lowe's, Rona and Home Depot back home in Toronto.

Yes went to get patio paint. Gentleman was very helpful kind polite, very positive. Being 65 have on set of cataracts. He help me pick out the color. Very happy. I wish I had got his name.

I can only give 5 stars, because the item I was looking for was only exactly where I was expecting it to be, the cashier only smiled six times and only made me laugh once.Had my order been at the counter and receipt printed out, bought and paid for when I walked through the doo door, I would have given six stars :)-Edit: the contractor only entrance makes a person feel good to!

Great selection of items, fairly practical layout. Some staff are incredibly helpful and knowledgable and like anywhere there are some staff that do not excel in customer service, luckily there are so many staff on that you can easily find someone else to help you if you encounter one of those less than helpful folk.
