Great store, well stocked with inventory. Phil and I have played gigs together and he is an incredibly talented musician, who has put in the hours of work required for his level of expertise.Repairs, maintenance and lessons are all done with the care and attention of a musician who is passionate about getting things right. Have had acoustic and electric set ups, fret maintenance, string changes ets... and all work was done perfectly and professionally. Have purchased amps and instruments from Phil and he never fails to point me in the right direction. He is more concerned that you get the right item for you, not the most shiny or expensive item. In addition, the space that Phil and Natasha have created is relaxed and welcoming for any level of musical ability. Great place that caters to all levels, from a first instrument purchase to a repair on an expensive guitar, or even buying a boutique guitar.

I’ve been taking lessons from Phil for over a year and he has been helping me to take my playing to another level. He is patient with my questions and has challenged my abilities. I have also purchased 2 guitars from Strings Cafe. My latest purchase had a minor manufacturing issue and it was dealt with superbly. Strings cafe has looked after my guitar needs and shares my passion for the instrument. I prefer to deal with them than any of the “big box” music stores. Oh, and the coffee is fantastic too!

Fantastic place to jam . I have scene many original artists there. For 5 bucks you can't beat it. London's best kept musical secret. I heartily recommend the 2 till 5 coffee house open mic.

best guitar shop in town. I came in a few times trying out different guitars and each time i came in I felt very welcomed. Phil was very patient with me and let me take my time to pick out a guitar. I’ve had a few guitars in the past and this one is the most special to me, it’s my first guitar I bought brand new and it’s incredible. Awesome place, friendly staff and they have open mic nights!!!

Phil is very knowledgeable and his expertise will help you pick a great guitar for your needs. Whether you are beginner or pro, he has a great selection of different makes and types. It's also a great place to hang out and get a coffee while getting your guitar repaired or serviced or just to hang out!

I needed some fretwork done on my bass and Phil was the man for the job. Frets are polished, pickup selector contacts cleaned and it’s playing better than ever. He does nice work for a really good price. Highly recommended!

A great guitar shop located at the heart of London which offers a great buying experience. Their growing selection of instruments just keeps getting better! They carry a great selection of instruments at every price point. The owner Phil is a great guitar player who has great knowledge. It’s always a pleasure to visit his shop and chat with him. I recommended this shop to anyone who is looking for a personalized and comfortable buying experience.
