I have been purchasing my jewelry at the Mapleview location for years and I couldn’t be happier. The staff is always so professional with their service and knowledgeable about all their pieces. They always help me pick out the perfect item and I wouldn’t hesitate to refer anyone to this store if they are looking for something truly special to buy for themselves or a loved one!

I had to exchange a gift earlier this month that was not suitable. The staff were very helpful to find something else and sorted out the issue with the return. I’m very happy with the new earrings - really nice quality as usual for Birks. Tota, Rosa and another lovely sales lady provided excellent customer service, were very knowledgeable and friendly. I would definitely go back to this location again.

I walked in looking for an engagement band and i was immediately greeted by a warm and welcoming smile by the three kind ladies who were working. They guided me through the whole process with a great amount of patience and understanding regarding what i was specifically looking for. They displayed an impressive amount of product knowledge and i am very happy and satisfied with my purchase. Thank you very much ladies!

Back in March, I reached out through the company web page to inquire about a Cole and Mason battery operated salt and pepper mill set that I had received as a gift through the Birks corporate gift program. I had had the set for less than a year, and the pepper mill would no longer work.I received an email back saying that Birks was not familiar with this item. I replied again saying that I had not purchased it in a store, but received it as a gift from my employer through Birks' corporate gift program. My inquiry was to find out if there was a warranty on this product, as I had had it less than a year.I received a reply asking if I could make an appointment" to come into their store so they could take a look at it and possibly send it back to their head office in Montreal to possibly be fixed.I responded again saying I would like to know if they honoured a warranty on this item before driving there as I lived in a different city

Best Birks experience hands down!! Customer service is fantastic and selection is great! Very professional and knowledgeable staff. I’ve come to this location several times for different occasions and every experience was amazing! This is the location to go to!

Awful experience I order a few wedding bands was told it would take a few days, after waiting for months I finally received a call saying that they were in, got there only to be disappointed that only one of them had arrived, ok no problem I thought I’ll just wait for the other one….after driving back home 30 minutes away I had a voicemail saying that sorry it is here we just noticed, so I drove the 30 minutes back only to get there and be disappointed AGAIN because they got the size WRONG!!!!!!!!So again I drove back for nothing waisted my time and my gas , so ok I didn’t like the ring anyway so they offer to let me pick something I like better ok so I did that found a different ring it needed to be sized , I was assured that it would take two weeks maybe less because they were going to put a rush on it, well it’s been over a month now, that’s not all I paid for the purchase with my flexiti card and they (Birks Mapleview) Signed me up for an insurance without my knowledge,by the time I seen the extra charges on my account it was too late for the insurance to be reimbursed to me, so naturally I called Birks about it to see if they would reimburse me the $230 dollars I was out because of their mistake but guess what I wasn’t reimbursed or offered anything so now I don’t want the ring that I fell in love with, so I don’t get a ring NO! You know what I get a $230 dollar bill and that’s it nothing else all this headache for months of waiting just to be dissatisfied and disappointed and out of $230 dollars and I have nothing to show for it, horrible company won’t reimburse me $230 dollars and they make millions would stay far away from them!!!!!

The most pushy sales woman I have ever met. Planned on spending a good amount of money and honestly she pushed us away. It’s a shame because the jewellery is really nice. But there’s always more jewelry at other jewellers.

Breanne was great. She helped me pick out the right piece of jewellery for my wife. I would definitely shop here again.

I purchased a wedding band for my husband and am so impressed with the friendly staff, they helped me find the right special ring for my husband. I really appreciate their effort and kindness also their patience.Thank you very much,

Very poor service. My husband purchased a ring for me 2.5 yrs ago and two diamonds have fallen out. I have tried to call the manager numerous times since November. Finally I went into the store. The manager basically told me it was my doing and that my ring was also dirty. She took pictures and was going to send them off. I have still not heard back from her and it is June. I have tried to call but she has not returned calls. Now a second diamond has fallen out. This looks like a popcorn box ring. My husband frequently makes purchases at Birks. This is very poor customer service. Will not be making purchases in the future.
