I was super impressed with the staff at AnJ. They were Professional, courteous and efficient. Not only was the wait much shorter than my usual place, I got a higher pay out.

EDIT: I won the gas card!!!! they are still an awesome crew. Always happy and smiling and willing to help!! Makes u enjoy recycling old electronics etc... Awesome staff to deal with. Super helpful and friendly!!

Been going here for a while and have had great service with my copper returns in the past. Today made me not want to come back ever again.Brought my copper this morning (twice the amount I usually bring) and only received 15% more money than usual. When I told him something wasn't right he told me price for copper went down. I checked and it was down 13¢...not 2.50$. I asked him to weigh it again and instead he handed me the money and asked if I wanted the receipt in a condescending/I want you to leave manner.I took the hint and left but it wasn't sitting right with me. I called them and told them for the next time to make sure they check their scale and he started losing it on me and then hungup on me. Safe bet I'm never going there again! Might be a few cents better then else where but I don't need that kind of service.

Staff is great, always willing to help unload my vehicle. Even offered my little girl a freezie! My go to place for scrap metal in Durham! Show up 15 minutes before they close as they have closing duties. They have families and want to spend time with them like all of us do at the end of a work day!

Had excellent service from this outlet in the past; however, this time I was refused service because I was not wearing a mask, for which I have a medical exemption. The employee who greeted me was wearing his (dirty) mask under his nose and the drop off was outdoors. They could have stood back and let me unload my electronics. Ignorance of the mask mandate, which clearly states that businesses cannot refuse service to mask-exempt people. Getting pretty tired of being treated like toxic waste. Completely illogical, covid theatre.

Feeling ripped off by this company. I save and return my aluminum pop cans.i usually take to a Scarborough location but thought going close to home was a better idea..NOT!! I got $5.75 for almost 8 huge recycling clear bags full. Remind you it's clean ALUMINUM I know maybe 2 bags would have been that in Scarborough. Never will I refer anybody to this company. And an FYI I'm not just some 1st timer doing this .I've been doing this for years n my family has been un the scrap business for YEARS!! Enjoy my hard work that's about a years worth from one home..

Pretty good service I must say.I wish they would just do a little bit better on their prices But other than that I love going there

Very rude. Was not nice to deal with. Was not pleased with the people who were working.. Lack of respect. had no manors. Had rude tone when telling we had to unload what we had. And yet there was more the enough people there. Should not demand to see drivers. Should ask nicely. Was not a good first time there. Will most likely not return due to the fact there was no respect, manors or even nice tones to workers.

Came here to drop off copper i had after a renovation. Got home and realized I had lost my wedding ring. When I went back days later they had found it and were holding on to it in case someone came back. Thank you guys very much for your integrity and honesty. I would highly recommend them and will be returning in the future with my business.Thanks again.

Fantastic service, your staff is always very helpful and friendly. I appreciate how fast they get my truck unloaded so I can get on my way. I am unsure of the names, but I think the guy who paid me was named Steve, even told me of another ANJ location in case I needed to take items on a weekend. Well done guys, thanks for your help.
