Coziest little oyster bar ever! I don't know if it seats more than a dozen people, but I am glad I was one of them last week. Top class fresh oysters, usually 6-7 varieties to choose from.The raw shucked are outstanding - the shucker is a master. We had 2 dozen raw and each was a work of shucking art - each oyster perfectly separated from its shell, undamaged in any way. And with the liquor intact. That is some skill. Hat's off! Oh, and the homemade chili-vodka condiment? Inspired!The fried oysters were big meaty west coasters, perfectly crispy, juicy.I want to go back with a bigger group, so we can try them all.Big thanks to the owners - such nice people

Good oysters!! Bad thing is very slow (only have husband n wife as owners n waiters).Recommend: fried oystersNOT recommended: chicken wings (Drier than my uncle's joke)

Came here for the oysters and it didn't disappoint.We had the special oyster of the day which was discounted to $2.50 each. It came with the full complement of different toppings to accompany the oysters.Needless to say we couldn't stop at only 1 dozen..

A hidden gem! Great option for a spur-of-the-moment, very casual dining experience. The pair that runs it are great: they're personable & enthusiastic about oysters. Everything is always fresh & portion sizes are good. Fairly simple menu but I mainly go for the oysters anyways! Always tempted to stop by when I'm in the neighborhood or passing by :)

We've been coming to Oyster Express for over 10 years. It is by far my favorite place for oysters - other establishments cannot compare to Oyster Express's freshness and selection, not to mention the care the owners put into their craft. The restaurant is small and intimate and is run by a really lovely couple (Shawn and Soran). They always provide stellar service and are very genuine for the support their customers provide them. We've always had a great time! Continue the great work!

Small oyster bar in Chinatown. Had variety of oysters from BC, PEI and elsewhere. The happy hour oyster for 2.50 each was a bit bland and unexciting. The favorite was the Gorge Inlet which was larger in size and tastier than the other options. The fried oyster was really good too. Would rate it higher if was bit cheaper in prices.

Always love visiting here. Has such quiet charm and the oysters are always delicious. On my visit they were offering 5 different types of Oyster. My favorite was the Sannich Bay Oyster. But all were tasty.

Oysters were very fresh and clean with comfortable environment! Good place to talk with your bestie. Me and my friend went there yesterday and each of us ate approximately 20! We ordered white wine as well, perfect match! They also offered few sauces for your own table that you can choose. Price is reasonable and good service! I left my key on Sunday and unfortunately they closed on Monday. I was so frustrated the whole night. I tried to massaged them through google map which I won’t expect to receive prompt responses. However, The owner (I think he is the owner) replied my massaged the next day morning, and he was so nice and helpful, he went back to the restaurant to pass me the key on the day suppose to be closed. It was a great experience, so I bought two drinks for him and his wife as a gift for doing all this. Hahahahahha highly recommend that you to go there! Try the fresh and affordable fresh oyster!

If you're in Chinatown and crave oysters THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO. I've been here a number of times over the last 5 years and haven't been disappointed.The oysters are fresh and service is genuine. They usually have a handful of different types and can describe them to you.Fresh shucked in the restaurant. Plated on a bed of ice with grated horseradish. Cocktail sauce, Mignonette sauce, chili water served along side.They have happy hour!!
