It was the first and last company I contacted. The person on the phone was reassuring and warm which gave me no doubts about hiring them. The movers, Jess and Les, were extremely careful and attentive when it came to packing and transporting my stuff. On top of going above and beyond in doing their job, they also had a great sense of humor and very easy-going personalities. As a single woman living in a big city, I felt comfortable and safe from the beginning to the end. 100% recommend!

What can I say? They did exactly what they said they were going to do. Their customer service folks were prompt, polite, and helpful. I highly recommend them.

They arrived on time and served until all was finished, not wasting time paying for more hours. They were also very polite and had a smile on their faces the whole time.  They put all the furniture down and wrapped it to prevent it from getting damaged.  Thanks their excellent services.

We just did a massive move with Smart Movers and I can't recommend them highly enough, the experience was fantastic from quote to finishing the job. They were super efficient, accommodated all our requests and wishes and were fast. We didn't have any damage even though we had them move our full house of over 3 truckloads. All their guys did an absolutely professional job. Also the pricing is very competitive. If we have to use a moving company again, we know where to go right away!

This has to be the worst move we’ve ever completed.Smart movers damaged some our furniture and electronics valued up to $3000. From missing parts of bed frames, scratched mirrors, broken porcelain plates, ruined sound systems - list goes on.This was one of the most difficult moves we had to do because this team did not do their job well, leaving almost half of the work to us.First, we had issues with one the movers - Ray. Ray was extremely unprofessional, wasting time talking and burning hours instead of helping us carry stuff. He would pretend to be working to burn hours and extend the cost of the move, even when we told him to pick up the pace since the move had to be completed in less than 4 hours.He would use every minute he had to talk to the building concierges, me and my sisters, and burnt time holding elevators to make it seem like they weren’t working. This caused major delays in our move, that resulted in us paying extra fines in our new buildings.I have to say though, Max, the other of the two movers, did his best given the situation and was professional. He worked really hard and did his best given Ray wasn’t helping us. Unfortunately, their team slacked as a whole, so I had to recruit help from my two sisters. Between them and me we ended up moving 40% of our property. Max worked loading the truck while Ray was either on his phone or wasting time inside the truck.Our original quote was for 3-4 hours. Due to all these delays we ended up having to extend it to 6 gruelling hours - this was mostly because of Ray’s delays and lack of professionalism.The worst part is I’m still unpacking and discovering more damaged property as a direct result of the move - items that the Smart Movers team moved.Given how much we lost so much in damages in this move, I would never recommend this service to anyone.Avoid at all cost.

From the initial communication and quote, through the courteous and informative updates, right up to the punctual and polite staff who took great care in delivering our belongings to our new home. Simply superb.  Nothing was damaged, everything was packed carefully, and it all arrived on time. Definitely recommended.

From start to finish, our experience was pleasure. They gave me a 3.5 hours arrival window, which kind of sucked but I get why they have to do that. The driver called me 30/45 minutes before arriving. Everything went very smoothly. They wrapped my furniture and loaded up the truck in no time. Highly recommended.

I cannot say enough about how wonderful my experience was with Tony and Philipe. They called ahead of time, kept me informed were extremely polite and such a fun team to work with. Everything was handled super professionally and with utmost care. Not to mention the laughter and fun we shared, which made moving so stress free. The drop location was quite far too and they made it such a breeze. Thank you so much smart movers!!! So much appreciated!!

Professional and generally great running moving company and they really give back to the community.The prices were very_ reasonable. All in all a great_ experience…..
