On Point Restore

I purchased a house built in the 1970’s in 2022 and learned afterwards about all the products that contained abestoes. My reno budget didn’t allow for hiring a company to do the abatement but this is the next best thing. Big thanks to John, Rob, Chelsea, Winston, for all the help and guidance during this process. This is possibly one of the only places in the city that provides top of the line equipment needed to do the work yourself safely. Do yourself a favour and hire them. First I got the house professionally tested, than I hired a tech from On Pointe to come out to show me how it’s done properly and then they made a list of all the equipment and materials needed to do the abatement properly and safely. Go with what they recommend, they were spot on with everything, and I felt safe doing the abatement. I will be recommending this company 100%.

My husband and I had a great asbestos removal experience with On Point Restore. Obviously, like most people, we weren't excited to find asbestos in our house and having to remove it as part of our renovations. To save money we originally were looking into On Point because they also rent asbestos removal safety equipment and we thought we'd do it ourselves. Personally my fear was being belittled by a company when we shared we wanted to do it ourselves, but On Point was supportive of whatever we chose. I like a company that is willing to add support in different degrees. On Point laid out a fair, reasonable assessment of what it would look like for us to do it ourselves, as well as what they would provide (at a very fair price) if we hired them to complete the work. Ultimately we hired them to complete the work and we are very happy with our decision. Thank you John, Justin, Mark and crew!

My partner and I recently used On Point to deal with water damage in our basement. From initial assessment, through liaison with our insurance company on our behalf, and on to full restoration the team was exceptional. I was particularly impressed with the high degree of customer service displayed by virtually every On Point team member. To suggest that they went above and beyond to answer our questions, and give us peace of mind is to perfect the art of understatement. The same holds true for the contractors On Point brought in for carpet replacement and the like; the service was seamless throughout. Let's face it, anytime you need to call in a restoration company you are likely feeling stressed, worried about cost, and wanting things put back to normal as quickly as possible. With that in mind, I recommend On Point unreservedly; John Wegner sets the right tone at the top, and this carries through to his crack crews. A special shout out to Justin, who was first on scene and went the extra mile to quickly ease our minds and give us confidence that all would be good. He was right.

I’ve dealt with On Pointe on two occasions now through my condo association due to water issues and both times they have been phenomenal to work with.Excellent communication skills, professional and courteous staff. With our most recent flooding issues I received several phone calls to keep me updated on arrival time and procedures which was very appreciated. Mark and Justin have been at our property both times and are very pleasant and polite gentlemen, and are both extremely knowledgeable.I will absolutely be using them in the future if ever needed without hesitation, and cannot recommend them enough!

Chelsea at On Point is amazing. She is extremely helpful, thorough and ensures any items are addressed promptly. She has a wonderful energy that helps alleviate the stress of the situation. John is always great to communicate with and ensure that you understand the type of work that needs to be done. Winston is great as well. Anytime I have spoken with him he is very helpful and friendly, and he is always willing to get back to me or have someone else from the office reach out if he doesn't have an answer.

On Point Restore was hired by our condo board to do emergency water damage mitigation. They performed mold remediation and asbestos abatement. The staff were courteous and responsive to all our questions during this difficult time. They were professional and went above and beyond to walk us through every step of the process. They informed us when they would be in our home while we were away, and took care to make sure all of our belongings were well taken care of. They made the process incredibly easy. After being told that a furnace cleaning company would not do the cleaning because of the presence of what they thought was asbestos taping on a couple of the furnace pipes. I was told it had to be either removed or encapsulated and they suggested I go online to find a company who would do it. Thankfully I found On Point Restore, gave them a call, explained my situation and they promptly scheduled a time to send someone over to assess the situation. My experience with On Point, from the time of my first telephone conversation with John, to the follow-up with Chelsea, to the person to person experience with Justin who removed the tape has been nothing less than 10 out of 10. We had a water line spring a leak in our condo. After contacting our property management company, Travis and Mark were quickly on the scene to clean up damage to our floor and wall. We met Travis again when he came with Tyler to repair the damage. Travis is extremely friendly and was very helpful and quick to respond to any request we made. Tyler did the bulk of the repairs and did a terrific job. We were very impressed with his neat, tidy, dustfree workspace and with his thoughtfulness. While he was moving our upright freezer he took the time to dry and clean the interior. Great! All of Tyler's repairs look great and matched the exsisting paint colours perfectly. Whenever we called On Point, Chelsea was always helpful, informative and friendly. She kept us informed on when and how repairs would be made. Our positive experience with On Point during a stressful time has left us with complete customer satisfaction.

We used On Point Restore in November 2019 to have a bunch of asbestos abated from the basement of our 1950’s home and had a great experience with them, so when we found mould in our main floor bathroom wall a few weeks ago, we called them again. Both times, John gave us a very detailed quote at a fair price and plenty of information about their process giving us confidence that the job was done right.
