Gino's Shoe Repair

My shoes are repaired to perfection here! I went to three repair shops before I found Gino's. My search is now over.

I went to this shop to repair my formal shoes for a party the same evening. The owner was very kind and fixed my shoes right away. He also polished my shoes for FREE thinking I am going to a party. What an awesome guy. I will be sending anyone asking me for shoe repair to this man. Thanks for your help.

Michael provides impeccable service coupled with extremely warm customer service. The guy has a heart of gold and magical hands. This is the only place I will ever bring my shoes for repair. Full stop.

I recently went to Gino's to get a pair of men’s winter leather boots reheeled.Mike examined the boots in his usual drawn out manner (repeating himself over and over again). I was in a hurry that day but it seems to be his normal routine. Allow 15-20 min. for the explanation of what he intends to do to your items. I picked them up today and they have no salt stains on them, brand new soles and heels and he brought them back to like-new condition and waterproofed them as well. Very happy.

went to Gino's Repair on Bathurst St. I had two pair of shoes for Michael to repair (mine and my wifes shoes)requirement: wife- minor repair with glue & shinemy shoes- replacement heel, and shine them nicely. Michael did a fantastic job. I paid him in advance and he issued a receipt, but poorly recorded type of receipt , failed to mention type, color of shoes : all he put was 2 pair shoes-repair"

I did not get my shoes repaired here, as his price was higher than others I have got quotes for. Judging by the review I am sure he does a great work but he will not give you a simple quote over the phone and will ask you to bring it in. In this time and age, I just don't find that transparent.

Gino is amazing! He took my battered 'Ecco' dress shoes and made them new!Details: I have a pair of Ecco dress shoes, and the heels were pretty much gone/worn down to the sole. I took them into Gino. He explained to me exactly what types of materials he uses (Italian or Spanish imported materials only), and the entire process. To me that signifies that somebody is passionate about their craft. He then showed me four different options for heels. I felt that one of them was better than the others because it had more heavy tread for our slippery winters with lots of ice and snow. He actually made a custom heel by cutting the rubber with a special machine, and did not charge me more than the 'pre-fab'/pre-cut heel products. Finally, he gave my shoes a free shine and polish after putting on said heel. What a guy!Highly recommend Gino. The man is all about quality.

Mike does really fantastic work! He has saved a few pairs of my shoes that I thought were beyond repair. Best cobbler I have found in the city since my old one closed.

Really upset that he charged me twice because he forgot to write 'PAID' on the shoe tag. I paid $100 when i dropped off my shoes (as he makes you pay upfront - cash only) then assured me I didnt pay when i picked up so i had to pay AGAIN. I thought maybe i was going crazy and i didnt pay twice, so i went back with the exact same damage on my other shoe to see if he would just let me drop off the shoes and pay at pickup -- a test. He said -- how much did you pay the last time? this is expensive job"I said you tell me how much. HE QUOTED ME $40 CHEAPER!!! When he asked for the money

Mike repaired a pair of my shoes and literally made them look brand new as if they were never worn. Amazing. Highly recommended.
