I saw this place on an episode of Project Bakeover over the winter. Since I live nearby, I kept in mind and finally visited this afternoon. I bought a box of 6 aborted decadent pastries.

It's been a little while that I have noticed a greater choice of finer pastries, cakes and fruit pies just to mention a few. The staff is friendly and helpful. Price point is on the higher side. I am not sure but every points to this pastry shop being under new administration. If not kudos for the improvements.

I used the Too Good To Go app for 2 days while visiting Montreal so what I received wasn't what you would get buying directly at the counter, which makes the amazing quality and taste even more impressive. Patisserie Napoleon which I believe were dulce de leche, tomato pie and braided loaf...I would buy again in a heartbeat at full price if I lived nearby.

I order a birthday cake for my daughter. It was very well decorated, very artistic. But sadly, some of the deco was a kind of spheres, made by styrofoam and covered by a light chocolate layer :( So disappointing to bite this and have a styrofoam in mouth. The exterior was so sweet and fat :(

This is definitely one of the better Italian bakeries in the east end. Of course, I can only speak to the quality of the items I’ve purchased. First, their paninis are delicious. Second, their pizzas are phenomenal; so many different types from all-dressed to potato, sausage, ricotta, etc. I haven’t tried a pizza that I disliked from here. Their taralli are amazing as well. My favourite are the mini lemon ones and the wine flavoured ones. On a few occasions though, the taralli that are supposed to be moist ended up being hard or tasting stale. This is more of an exception, not the rule. The cakes here are honestly hit or miss. I find that recently they have less variety with the cakes. They have a lot of chocolate cakes, so if that’s your thing, more power to you; it’s a matter of preference honestly. Additionally, they changed their tiramisu cake. I don’t know what it is about the new recipe but it has a weird caramel (??) taste and the lady finger cookies are dry. The staff here are usually polite, professional, always ready to assist you and willing to answer questions. At times it’s as if they’re short staffed though and depending when you go, it can get super busy which results in long wait times to check out. Unfortunately, I also noticed that they run out of certain items very quickly, and they don’t always replenish. If you go even a bit later in the day, you might be limited..

I use to come here often when I was in high school at LMAC in the late 90s, I went today and the place is still as I remember. Amazing choices, great people behind the counter and of course delicious pastries and freshly made sandwiches. A St-Leonard landmark in my opinion.

Quite disappointing that a $65 birthday's icing was 100% margarine when I asked the lady if it contained margarine as my wife (her birthday) and I don't consume margarine especially if it's an industrial measuring that was used, it was a waste and we didn't eat it, I bought some salty things from here before, but the sweets, it is to avoid, unless if you are looking for a guaranteed heart attack.
