The guy at the counter went beyond and helped us with the order. Food was good and the service was excellent as well. Must visit place in downtown for Indian cuisine .

Ordered 2 portions of Papdi Chaat on Uber Eats. All I received was the dry wafer with just a little potato and beans. It didn't even have a drop of dressing, yogurt, or tamarind chutney. Extremely disappointing because those two portions couldn't be consumed.

Some of the best curry I've ever had and I've had plenty. I had medium madras and my companion a medium jalfrezi. In my opinion the madras was somewhat superior with more complex flavors (and creamier thanks to the coconut milk) whereas the jalfrezi was thicker with a more dominant capsicum notes but both were delicious. Medium spicy was quite spicy at first but after a while it just left a very pleasant heat. The chicken was incredibly tender and flavorful. The garlic naan was super fluffy and yummy. We also had onion bhajis and poppadoms and both were very tasty. What the place perhaps lacks in interior design it fully makes up for in flavor and friendly service.We'll be back next time we're in Calgary.

If your new in Calgary, and your looking for a authentic Indian food, with proper, authentic spices, VERY generous portions, and where the chef’s will be more than happy to customize the dishes to your liking, look to further than Taste of India!I took a random chance on this place when my regular Indian place closed early one day, and I’ve never been back to that place, even though Taste of India is more than twice the distance of a drive! Their food is THAT DELICIOUS! When you order garlic naan bread, you don’t get just one large piece of bread, you get a few large slices of soft, delicious buttery garlicky goodness per order!Each dish is incredible value for the price, I always end up with leftovers for days and days, and it tastes almost better the day after! My personal favorites are their Palak Paneer, Fish Curry, and Tika Masala. Butter Chicken is a dish I don’t usually go for, but for here it’s to die for!Give them a chance and I guarantee, you’ll keep coming back over and over like me!

Worst food ever, please never order or eat food here. We spent good amount of money and they gave food which was contaminated and food quality is worst.I gave whole amount of bill just to show them we are not frauds or want to eat for free because the food quality is worst i am putting this review. Onions , noodles and oil they used to make dishes is worst.Think twice prior ordering or dine in hereUsing same utensils and putting touched/used food and serving other is very very very wrong.

Stopped in for some dinner and well I'll start off with the staff is friendly and helpful. I had ordered some Samosas and Nan Bread with rice and Butter Chicken. One thing I couldn't believe was you have to order the rice separate from the Butter Chicken. When are order came the rice was cold not even warm if it wasn't for the how good the butter chicken and Samosas were I likely would have given 2 stars. Most likely won't be back.

Very poor quality food. We order same Hakka noodles and they looks different in colour. And Manchurian delivery quality very poor. Not worth 13 $

I reached the restaurant and took a seat at 2:10pm. Someone took my order at 2:20. Usually when we reach a restaurant they will ask what you want for drink, but they didn't even ask. So i went on to ask for some water but even at 2:30 i didn't get water. The service was poor. The chicken was half cooked and still could see blood. The prawns were good. Reason to give 2 stars
