I started my amateur race team in 2017. Fast Company helped me with keeping the bike and suspension fully tuned for 2.5 seasons. I credit them with my ability to turn Pro this past season (2020). The suspension on my Street Glide was always disappointing. I recently decided to make a change and started the search for an upgrade. There are many options available, and everyone has an opinion of what’s best. I spent many hours on forums and YouTube, filtering through recommendations and comparisons. The search came down to a choice between Ohlins and Progressive, but each have multiple models to choose from. I needed to find someone who lives and breathes motorcycle suspensions to talk to about my needs.It was difficult to find an Ohlins retailer in Canada, but I found Fast Company. I called and spoke with Andrew, we spent some time talking about my needs and riding style. Andrew knows his stuff. He is easy to talk to and friendly. He guided the conversation and with his help I made the decision to go with Ohlins HD772s.A week later the shocks arrived at my house. Andrew sent me a link to Ohlins web site with instructions how to dial in the settings for preload and dampening for my particular needs. The installation was simple, and the test ride was brief due to the chilly temps. What a difference from stock! So much smoother.A couple days later on a warmer sunny day I got the chance to really ride them. After an hour or so on some local twisties I found cornering was quicker and tighter, the bike stays planted and holds the line. They soak up the rough pavement without bottoming out. In our first conversation Andrew mentioned how the steering geometry will improve with a minor increase in shock length. The bike handles so much better now. My confidence in the bike has improved.I highly recommend Andrew at Fast Company as a knowledgeable resource for your motorcycle suspension needs.
