MAC Cosmetics - The Bay

Small cosmetics desk location inside department store but they always offer fast and courteous service. The downside is that they don't offer pro pans but otherwise I have never had a bad experience and considering there is usually only one artist working at a time, that's amazing service. They far outshine the service you get downstairs at Sephora. The staff are knowledgeable and ready to help you select colours and recommend new and alternative products. I always feel welcome here.

Called to ask about warranty/return policy as it’s always changing during this time of covid and at some points stores have been completely closed for months at a time including this one. For a professional brand that I trusted, I trust no longer...I’m allergic to many of their eye products and the return policy and customer service at this location is appalling. The last thing that was sarcastically spoken on the phone by the girl at the Georgian Mall location today was “...or just keep the receipt, it’s not that complicated!” To which I laughed in surprise at her sarcastic and unhelpful attitude and decided I should leave a review detailing my experience. One star. Go somewhere where the customer service cares and understands especially during the complication of covid and store closings, wants to help, upholds a professional attitude when representing a professional product and isn’t sarcastic and degrading.

I never leave reviews but I came in today to look for a lipstick. One of the girls she had blonde hair was working today and she was very unwelcoming and unfriendly. She acted annoyed that I asked her a question, she wasn’t helpful and acted stand-off ish probably won’t come back to this location.

I had my make done here and the girl that did my makeup was very friendly. Did a great job.The ladies name was amber.Highly recommended.

The manager Casey is awesome! She did my makeup the last time I had a big evening out and I have an appointment booked with her for this weekend as well. I’ve had my makeup done professionally many times before and she is by far the best. I would highly recommend this location and Casey specifically.

Best MAC store in Canada. I know my wife is a collector and the women there are fantastic. As my wife says they are beautiful and friendly.

Couldn't have been more pleased after I popped in without an appointment and Casey Salvatore worked with me for an hour trying out different products, reminding me how to apply them and showing me the potential of the great stuff I already had in my makeup bag. She was very good with this 40+ mother with conservative tastes. Thank you!!

Absolutely lovely staff, super friendly, warm and inviting. Neighbours across the hall make you feel like you're wasting their time, but at MAC Barrie you're greeted with a warm smile and helpful advise.Thank you for being my new MAC haven!

The staff here are very rude and unpleasant. I’ve gone in a couple times and I’ve never gotten any good service. I went there yesterday, and the girl there gave me a snarky look and didn’t ask if I needed help or anything.
