Amazing customer service, prices, and staff. Fred, the hair stylist who took care of me was amazing. Fred takes his time with the work he is doing and trust me when I say he knows what he is doing. Fred has great experience and it really shows in the work that he does. He gave me an amazing hair cut, style and was very friendly. I could not stop smiling when he was done cutting and styling my hair. I cant wait to come back and see these people again for my next hair cut. I HIGHLY recommend everyone to see Fred for your next hair cut. Thank you Fred <3

Alexandra did a phenomenal job on my eyelash extensions!! Her level of skill, precision, and open-eye design gave my eyes the natural lift and pop they needed! The service was very comfortable and relaxing. Alexandra is also a great conversationalist and made me feel beautiful on the inside and out. I would recommend Alex 10/10!

i have been visiting the york university hair salon for a year now. I always do haircuts and hairstyling with dear masume. She never fails to deliver. The results are always amazing and her exceptional manners make the experience way more delightful. Love it there!❤️

Masoum was an amazing hair stylist! Both of my dressers for the day have been gracious and open enough for my preferences, particularly since my hair had been dyed already beforehand. They had to mix two-three shades to balance a newer full color for my hair (went from leftover two-parts black and ginger brown to burnt copper/auburn red). I also had a butterfly cut for a more voluminous look. Would def come back for those two! ❣️

I hadn’t been to a hair salon in years and I decided to go to this one since it was the most convenient as a YorkU student and I don’t regret it at all! The salon was clean and Beata, my stylist, was so kind and knowledgeable. She was very considerate of my preferences and gave me an amazing hairstyle. While I originally only wanted a wash and cut (layers for volume), Beata was so sweet and gave me a blowout free of charge! I honestly feel so happy about my hair after so many years and the experience inspired me to start styling it. The prices are pretty reasonable and you’re definitely paying for a quality service. This is now my go-to salon for my hair. Can’t recommend enough!!

I’ve been to this Salon twice for bio gel nails done by Natalia. First I’d like to address the salon as a whole. The receptionist (I didn’t get her name) was phenomenal. She is so warm and welcoming, positive, friendly, and professional. Natalia was able to take me in as a walk in appointment with only a 15 minute wait. Natalia works fast but don’t let the deter you, the quality is better than anywhere else I’ve been in Toronto. She makes sure to examine the nails closely to make sure they match. She is diligent but very gentle. I showed her the inspo photo once and she recreated them perfectly. My nails are thin so the look so much more natural, but they are still very durable and will last you weeks. My last set by Natalia lasted over a month with NO lifting, chipping, or breaking. This is definitely my new go to spot. The only thing I dislike (which has nothing to do with service quality) is the position of the chair. You are basically sitting outside the salon and students are walking back and forth behind you. Natalia works fast enough that it’s not an issue for long.

Arrogant, ignorant and rude staff. I had an appointment for my brows but Masoum Shiri refused to take me. The owner was not available at the location so I was not even able to ask for a valid reason.When I was there last time, she gave me a deep cut while threading, the owner saw it and refunded me the money as it was Masoum‘a fault, she was in a rush then as it was near closing time.This time she told me that my skin is sensitive that’s why I got that cut and I should go someplace else to get threading, which is extremely unprofessional and disappointing. I had made a booking, made the journey from my home for this appointment to be told to go somewhere else.This one star is only for the owner for being nice and fair the previous time.
