Double Taste Shawarma
The shawarma was decent and the portion sizes were quite generous. The fries did not work for me at all - was quite greasy and the coating overpowered the potatoes. Also they charge an extra $1.80 if you want half fries and half rice for the rocks. This is the first restaurant I found who did that. Normally no one charges extra for this. Anyway, the restaurant is very clean and the staff were nice.

Stay away from this place ! Quality is beyond low (e.g french fries taste like McCain and barely any options for a salad).The quantity could barely feed my 9 year old son and you can honestly buy shawarma and pizza at better places in town.

I had the shawarma poutine since i wasnt hungry enough for a full shawarma but the portion size was great and super fulfillingAs for the taste it was also amazing, it had alot of really good sauce, and the chicken had a good shawarma flavor to it.

I was visiting Freshco, but found it closed due to Easter. However, the nearby DT Shawarma's delicious and healthy salads saved my day. A $15 spending for a nice lunch is not at all bad. The staff was exceptionally friendly as usual. Interestingly, the Catch of the Day was French fries, which I typically order from Uber or DoorDash, but today I was able to enjoy freshly fried fries that were absolutely delicious. Additionally, the Baklava was simply to die for and added to the delight of my Easter Day weekend.

New owners I’m assuming? I should have read the recent reviews. Price has gone up HUGE and quality has gone down. I used to get a shawarma wrap and shawarma poutine for $14 taxes in. Now the wrap alone is around $12. Also it was cold. Not happy.

Do you want the most disgusting shawarma you've ever eaten, with dry chicken, bland rice, the worst salad you've ever seen, the dullest sauces, and where you don't even get hummus when you order a plate? Oh, and the food poisoning risk with their chicken left out in the open with no temperature control ALL DAY.Seriously, this place is disgusting. Don't waste your money here. You'd be better off picking up whatever is left in the dumpster behind KFC instead of eating here!

Small portions - very little meat, no sauces, TONS of rice. This place is garbage. Lots of 5 star" reviewers here have only made a few review posts - I bet they're all fake accounts created by the staff and owners to boost their Google reviews score. There are lot of better shawarma places around Kitchener

The smiles behind the counter I received when I walked in left ME smiling for the rest of the day. These days It's rare to be met with that kind of hospitality. Oh, and the shawarma poutine is out of this world.

A large group of us at work order takeout and our experience with DT Shawarma was phenomenal. They had our order very organized (better than we usually do) and all the food was fresh. They made sure to warm up the wraps when we got there to pick up which didn't take long. No issues at all with missing items, everything was great! Also the portions were great and the fries are THE BEST. 15/10 would recommend!!

They have a good food, just make sure they don’t reheat your fries! Weird!I hope management look into this and prevent from happening again.Also, leaving the chicken exposed like that with no temperature control is not acceptable, it could be easily contaminated.
