Pictou Academy

I ONLY GAVE IT 5 STARS SO YOU COULD SEE MY REVIEW! NOT EVEN WORTH ONE STAR!!!!By far, one of the worst schools we've ever had to deal with. There are a few, and I do mean a small amount, of staff who care about the children properly, but the majority, especially the principal is too self absorbed, arrogant and ignorant! The bullying here is so bad it even comes to my home! The hatred towards poc and lgbtq+ is DISGUSTING! My son was wrongfully suspended for three days for NOT HITTING another student who was beating his face in. And the teacher (who is our mayor) just stood there and watched(I have the video!) I wasn't going to write this, but given the consistent lack of support and response from the principal and the staff. I was left no choice. If you don't have too, do not send your children here. 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND!

I am truly horrified with this school. Absolutely disgusting, not poc friendly. Very disrespectful students. The constant bullying and harassment is crazy. I do not recommend.

The teachers don’t care, they are truly disgraceful. The students are extremely rude and not approachable in anyway. Not poc friendly either.

Went to school here in 74 to 77 when I was 12 13 14and 15 although I failed grade 7 twice and grade 8 once I enjoyed it was called McCollough JR High when I was there
