Dr. Kamil Abou-Kheir Family and Cosmetic Dentistry

I'm SO happy to have found Dr. Abou-Kheir's practice!! They're a fantastic group of people - fast, efficient, and super-friendly! Beautiful office with modern facilities. They are very thorough and I have great confidence in the entire team - I have received top-notch dental care for several years now, as has my husband and daughter as well. Best of all, they don't make me feel like a second-class citizen because I am on ODSP. I highly recommend Dr. Abou-Kheir's practice - you won't find any better!!

I have been going to this Dentistry for over 12 years and love all the staff. They always greet me by my name with such enthusiasm and courtesy. My hygienist Anna, is always so bubbly and full of life. She’s always asking about my health, my life with so much care and concern. She not only advises me on my dental care but other various issues. Dr. Abou-Kheir and his assistant are always eager to help with any issues I may be experiencing and treat me with respect and a genuine concern for my well being. I highly recommend their dental clinic very much. In fact, I live in Gatineau and still do the commute, as they are well worth it.

They always have curteous and friendly staff. I can always count on them to let me know what is required for the good health of my teeth.Anna is an excellent Higienist and takes lots of care in cleaning the teeth and ensuring it is well done.I would recommend this dentist office to anyone.

Writing this review was hard for me to do, as I was a patient for years at this location and the staff was always friendly, especially the ladies at the front desk. Only after I left did I realize I've been taken advantage of and now I am traumatized and left with a missing molar. I had a root canal done years ago that I never had a problem with. But according to Dr. Nguyen there was a crack with my crown and he warned that if I didn't get the root canal redone it could get it infected. I checked with another dentist who said there was absolutely nothing wrong with my crown, and the little crack is not a threat. But unfortunately I didn't listen to him, and felt I should follow Dr. Nguyen's recommendation. So several appointments and $1000+ later, I had it replaced. Fast forward a few months, I start to feel pain in that same area, and half my face was swollen. I assumed it was my wisdom teeth coming in, and I never thought it would be anything to do with my root canal. When Dr Nguyen took a look, I can tell from the horrified look on his face that it was indeed my root canal. He said the entire tooth, gum area, and cheek were infected and if I ignored it any longer it could have continued on to the rest of my face. He gave me the option of redoing the root canal, which had a small success rate, or pulling the tooth out and getting an implant ($$$). Devastated, I ultimately went with the extraction. Luckily, I stopped there and transferred to another dentist (who was shocked by my story). I also had a friend who was previously a patient there, and Dr Kamil had seen her and told her she had 12 cavities and it would cost $6000 to fix. She goes to another dentist and he tells here there are absolutely no cavities at all... I urge everyone to think twice before coming here for any dental work

I have had an amazing experience here, from the friendly staff care to the profesional recommendations and care of Dr. Kamil Abou-Kheir and the amazing results. I have had extensive cosmetic work done with amazing beautiful perfect natural results that has given me the most beautiful smile. Very highly recommended for the best in dental expertise. I have been seeing Dr. Kamil for over 8 years and not only he is very professional, he most def. deserves thumps up for paying attention to details.I was not able to afford veneer for my chip tooth. Dr. Kamil is the only person who worked around my budget and covered my tooth with a filling even though it was more time consuming for him. The results were unreal! There is not another dentist I would trust but him to do this sort of work on me. My color of the veneer compare to my own teeth was such a perfect match, I was amazed!!!!He always checks up on me when I visit for cleaning. You can tell he takes pride in his work! I would def. recommend Dr. Kamil to anyone who is looking for great work. He is the MAN!!!!

I had a very mixed experience here. I previously frequented this office and I had a basic and satisfactory time. Unfortunately my experience was extremely soured by the awful Orthodontist. During my ortho consultation, I was told repeatedly in different ways how ugly my teeth were and how my smile and face would be so much prettier after braces. Dr. Anh Nguyen removed my wisdom teeth a few hours ago, he's honestly hands down the best dentist I've ever been to and I do not foresee myself ever going anywhere else. I have friends who need their teeth out as well and I'm going to recommend this clinic to anyone that will listen! And the whole team at this dental office is amazing, the secretaries go above and beyond for you, the hygienists and techs do as well. Everyone there is a STAR. If I could give them 10 stars I would!!! So happy.

So happy with my smile after having braces by Dr. Abou-Kheir. He ensured every little detail was taken into account; from how my jaw was aligned to how my teeth would look aesthetically. Every little step was explained to me first so I could understand what was happening and what they were trying to accomplish with my smile. This made the experience all that much better.
