Bad service,I bought 400 dollars a month of dog food for 2 years from here and will never again. Arrived at 4:48 and wanted to buy my two bags and they told me they are closed at 5 then quickly closed the door. Poor service, I’ll never be back it would have taken 2 minutes and still been under your advertised closing time.

The younger staff are very friendly & knowledgable. We always like to ask them their opinions on our new puppies care. However, we went in last night, and a much older blonde worker was rude to my husband and I. She gave us very glaring stares as if we were doing something wrong by simply existing. She then snarled at me to put my puppy on a leash (who was trying on harnesses at the time) i said sorry, and she rolled her eyes at me. I didnt see any signs that said this was the policy. So how would I have know this rule? She could have been more professional, and let us know in a better manner. I felt so uncomfortable we left. I was going to use this location to buy our $65 bag of food & baths bi weekly. However, this lady has ensured we will never return. I will also make sure all of our friends, family, co workers & employees will not use this location either. If she doesnt like animals or people, why is She working in this role? Clearly not fit to work in customer service!

Friendly and helpful staff. The dog wash is amazing for our husky, saves me making a mess out if my bathroom. They also keep a bag of our dog's food in stock for us after they noticed that they didn't have what we were looking for the first time.

Friendly staff was out of a few things that I wanted so they helped me substitute and my puppy liked it would recommend this store

Twice in the past month I've gone to this location (including today) to find it closed during regular business hours. That's the last time, I'll take the drive to Alliston, it's a sure thing.

Karen is so incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. One of the best customer service experiences I've had in a long time. She has a loyal customer in me!

Dustin and Shannon were super helpful with getting me sorted to help my senior cat get a hotspot treated and start healing. Also had a nice chat about Tott since I just recently moved back! Thanks so much :)

Love this store, always have my cats favorites in stock and a nice selection of toys for them right along the way back to the cash register so I can go home and spoil them a wee bit!

I have never had a good experience once at this location, but because this is the only Pet Valu near me, it’s really my only option unless I want to drive out of the way by 20 mins to Alliston and another 20 mins back but after my experience today, I will be doing that from now on. When I arrived 10 minutes BEFORE their advertised closing time the door was locked, I knocked and a staff member cracked the door open after attempting to ignore me for several minutes talking to one other staff member. I explained I just needed a bag of my usual dog food and I could even pay cash if that was easier for them as I knew they were closing very soon. She was EXTREMELY rude closing the door in my face multiple times as I tried to speak and this is with me being a usual customer. I’m there at least 3-4 times a month. If they had closed the tills early she could have just said so respectfully. Will now gladly drive 40 minutes out of my way to never go back.
